Eww, I always hated being held over that long. When I worked at Goddwill we closed everyday at 6pm. People decided it was a great idea to go shopping at 5:50, and we weren't allowed to make them leave, even if it was past 6 and they were still inside. So annoying -.-

I had been growing my hair out for years, so it was pretty long. But since I pretty natural waves, I didn't brush my hair much. That led to lots of knots and tangles, and I just got so sick of dealing with the rats nest on my head lol. Long hair can be so fun to play with, though! I have lots of layers in my short hair now, so I'm excited to play with them later ^_^

It sounds fabulous! I hope you have lots of fun with your new hair!! I know I loved short hair so so much. (I went from waist length hair to shoulder to inch long hair ) There are so many styles to play with the type of hair your described :3

Growing it out from the short short length (especially a-symetrical styles) is so annoying D: .... But I kinda wish I had shaved my head properly while my hair was so short XDD I love the chestnut brown idea. I'm still toying with the gentle perm idea in a few months.
