Last night, without any sort of curing, wardrobe fiddling, attempts at claiming a skin - or any apparent prompting at all - my zombie skin just disappeared, full-stop. It isn't hiding away in the beta wardrobe, it isn't behind an applied background - it's just gone, out-of-the-blue.

I've been a Blistered Hearts zombie for a long, long time and I was really attached to the look. I saw the recent news about claiming skins, but didn't think much of it, because I didn't want my HA to be human. I didn't even USE the beta wardrobe recently at all. Then - yesterday when I logged in and the snowballs from the fight had cleared up or the first time in a day or two - my HA was fully human. I frantically went to the wardrobe to see if the skin had been auto-claimed or something - nope. It's simply gone. Vanished.

The only wardrobe-related action I did in the past few days was sending a Melody's Cottage item (the Gingerbread Sweater) to my clothing collection. I don't know if that is what triggered it, because, again, too mnay snowballs at the time. However, the hair my HA is currently wearing is also a MC item from way earlier in the month and my skin survived that, so I have no idea.

My HA is human on several different OS and browsers and computers - so it is not a glitch specific to my settings.

I had no idea this was a possibility - that if I didn't claim my skin I would lose it. My impression was that it was an optional function for people wanting to toggle back and forth. Can someone please restore me to my zombified state? I've been a loyal user for years and saw no indication this was a timely thing. It's pretty important to me that I get my skin back. :c At the very least - warn other members that not claiming their skins will result in them being lost?

The same thing has just happened to me, ! I'm very confused and upset too; I've been a Butterfly Bruise zombie for years, and now my infection is suddenly gone.

I have never cured myself, nor have I even managed my infection as a skin in the beta wardrobe before. But now, whenever I try to visit the Zombie Den, I receive the error message, "Oh No! SKITTERS ONLY SELL TO ZOMBIE. PLEASE COME AGAIN LATER." Clicking on "Back to Last Page" also brings an error message which says "Oh No! This isn't a valid shop".

I also do not see myself on the Healer page even though just about a week or so ago she was still showing me in my final stage of infection.

I checked the Skins page in the beta wardrobe, but the butterfly bruise skin is not selectable. I clicked on the link to claim preexisting skins, but when I did this, I received a message that I do not have previous skins (More specifically, it says "You converted the following skins: None!").

Last night I did change my outfit in my wardrobe, but I have done this in the beta wardrobe several times before and have not had any problems. I'm not sure when exactly my infection disappeared since, like PumpkinFireSoul, I have been covered in snowballs. But I did visit the Healer probably about a week ago, and my infection showed up there, so this has been a recent event.

I really hope that this gets resolved. Please let me know if you learn of anything!

I'm glad to find out I'm not the only one of the long-term hit by this removal of -fication.

:( I don't want my hearts as a skin! :( no no no no no I am one of those zombie snobs.. it is not a "layer" or wearable to me.

is it not possible to be a zombie again? I would prefer that sooo much over having it as a skin / wardrobe layer

Pretty sure on the original topic about the skins, said that all zombies might have their skins claimed automatically in the future anyway.
