I unno man... I kind of get this feeling like you're the cause of the zombie apocalypse. So it wouldn't be a surprise if you controlled the zombies to survive.

It isn't that the vampire-witch-sorceress survives or doesn't survive the zombie apocalypse, so much as her webs of deceit cause the heroine of the story to summon it when she thought she was casting a mortality spell on Morrighan instead. The cost of defeating the ZA is too high for a Good person to bear and drives our heroine to the brink and she destroys Morrighan before the last zombies are mopped up.
