Really hoping to see the "you have this" feature come back- I found that to be one of the handiest updates Subeta came up with in a long time. I doubt I speak for everyone, but I'd rather the wishlists load a little slower than lose that forever. x:

EDIT: Also can we have the option to be able to order our categories?? Right now the order's completely different from what it was before. Alphabetical instead of timeline and I don't like it. I want to be able to move similar categories closer together and I want the "unsorted" category to be the first one in the first row.

"you have this item" was okay, but I won't miss it. I found I didn't like that it said I had an item, but it's in a non removable collection (plushies, beanbags, etc.) So really, I don't have the item available to me to give to someone else.

Sort by user price... missing it... hope its not gone for long, and not very fond of the updated wishlist but if it prevents crashes i guess i'll just have to learn to like it.

Can you either

1. Make the categories moveable or
2. Make them editable so I can at least put numbers in front of them so they'll be in the order I had them in :c

Like, the "you have this item" feature didn't make wishlists not load before... just since you made new changes.. Idk this is going to make the wishlist feature pretty much useless to me since subeta likes to put out items in GIANT waves (survival, masquerade, esther's, etc).

I'm having an issue in that I can't delete items or move them between categories. :( It would also be nice to be able to move an entire list at once, like when I import everything from a SubetaLodge collection list, I don't want to move every item one by one.

That whole thread is a bunch of hit or miss errors. Like, it periodically didn't work, for some people, some times. While others didn't have any problems. Which also coincided with OTHER pushes to site changes.

idk, that doesn't say "wishlists are broken" to me, that says "something else is breaking wishlists".

However it still doesn't address the fact that it basically took all the functionality of wishlists and turned it into "literally I'd be better off with a word doc".

The way we used to in the olden days before they added the feature... You guess at which items you think you might have, you search (either by going to where you think it's at or by using account search), and if you don't have it, you keep looking. Simple as that. I don't doubt that it will negatively impact gift-giving but it is possible to work around the lack of the feature with extra effort on the user end.

I will miss it... I think everyone will. (As evidenced on this topic...)

As for looking at other user's WL, the WL now uses user ID instead of user names in the link. I imagine that it will stay that way (though I am hoping not as I am actually more annoyed by that than the removal of the "You have" feature). Until everyone has updated their links to reflect the change, anyone wanting to see a WL of someone with the old link will have to hunt down the other user's ID and manually insert it. For example, if you click on my WL link (Click!), you should be able to view it just fine without adding me as a friend or anything. The friend's page just has your friends listed with their proper links for easy access.

I do not have the time nor patience to go through everything. At this moment, I have 30 pages in my vault. I do not have time to go through every page and try to memorize them so I can go through wishlists and be like OH I THINK I have that, I remember seeing it... I think... I went to one person page, and they do not have their wishlist displayed on their profile. So I went to wishlists to try and look them up, and I cannot find the option to.

I certainly don't have all my items memorize but I have a vague idea of items I own. Another thing I used to do is order things by user price first, look for items in the price range I was interested in spending, and go from there... But of course that isn't an option right now, but hopefully it will be eventually. -makes pouty face at powers-that-be- Pleeeassse??? XD

i don't know if someone has brought this up yet but- i misclicked and hit "Delete" on a section of my wishlist, and not only did it remove the section but also every single item in it?? if you're going to have it delete everything off that section of the wishlist, rather than moving the items back to unsorted, a "are you sure you wish to delete" would sure be nice

slightly annoying that we have to wait for cache to update to see the item we added to our wishlists. wish it was instant like before

also i agree with lucifer, there should definitely be a warning button before deleting a list, or even a checkbox instead
