I guess I was expecting it to be more like an actual ride, maybe like the Monsters Inc. one in Disneyland.
Being around warm, friendly, people is better than being around those who don't treat you well. :) I hope things improve for you. I've never really had friends who have told me they have anxiety - although I suspect a few of them may have something going on they're not telling me.
Went to SeaWorld in San Diego once - much preferred the San Diego Zoo, to be honest. It's that sort of thing you should experience once but not necessarily one that I would keep on going back to. I've always loved aquariums but the ones that have a more science/conservation focus like the Vancouver Aquarium.

Yeah I haven't ridden that one I think, but we did do the sit down show, which always makes me nervous they're gonna call on me xD
Yeah, true, and I know that people aren't all bad, it's just how my brain works haha Thanks :) It's kind of a work in progress to get better about it I have anxiety on top of it, so it's pretty hendering, but I figure if I'm out and open about it, it's not something people will hold against me
I love aquariums <3 Ours is pretty awesome, though it takes about two hours to get there and it's usually an all day thing, so we don't get to go as often as I'd like Yeah, I heard it was more of a show kind of thing and a lot of people are against it We've just always had a busy schedule and haven't gotten to plan it in yet
Oh I hate those sort of shows, I'd always sort of hide whenever they go around asking for volunteers. But at least there's always a lot of people who want to be called on and who want to participate so it's not a big deal.
:) Talking about it always helps. I hope you can feel comfortable in talking to me if you ever need to rant. Everybody needs that every once in a while.
I mean, SeaWorld is just something you should go see and decide for yourself. The shows are good and they do have a lot of exhibits, it is family friendly, but it's just something you need to choose for yourself. I would definitely go if you have the chance.

They're nice to watch, but if they ever pick me... xD
Oh of course! I wouldn't have said anything if I didn't :P You stuck around to chat with me, so by all means haha
Yeah, I think when we go next year we're going to make a point of going I know for sure my kids will like it (they'll be 2 and 3 when we happen to go) So yeah, if anything at least they'll get a kick out of it haha
I would actually sink lower in my chair whenever people would do that at shows and I think it actually made people notice me more, lol.
Disney is typically good about choosing people who want to participate and having shows that are fun for everyone. Even though when I went to see one of the Mickey shows it actually broke down in the middle of the show! Like, the displays and music stopped working and everything. :P
❄️ Seeking Elsa or Olaf inspired CWs ❄️
Lol I know right? The more you try to go unnoticed, the more people seem to notice you xD
Oh goodness! xD I bet they had a mad scramble to get that fixed
I remember one time when we were riding the Haunted Mansion ride it broke down about every 2 minutes You didn't get very far down the track before it broke down and it jolted so hard one time I lost my camera -.- It fell right out of the bag and everything, although it made it home before I did xD
Yeah, everyone was sort of sitting around. I think they thought they could get it going again but a lot of people were visibly upset that they wouldn't get to see the finished show, myself included, since we were leaving the next day.
And we were waiting for the Peter Pan ride when that went down but it took only about 20mins before it got going. That Haunted Mansion ride doesn't seem too fun though, especially since you know.. it's the HAUNTED mansion and you got stuck there! Yikes.
❄️ Seeking Elsa or Olaf inspired CWs ❄️
I would've been upset too D:
I absolutely love the Haunted Mansion ride haha It was scary the first time I went through, but now I love it The Peter Pan ride is a story ride isn't it? Kind of like the Winnie the Pooh one? I can't remember x-x
Yup! It's a one-by-one loader so it takes a while. But you're basically in a ship and you fly over different scenes. One is really pretty when you fly over the city - supposed to be London.
❄️ Seeking Elsa or Olaf inspired CWs ❄️
Ah okay! I remember now xP I love those rides, I know the story by heart, but still P:
It's a small world is still my favorite ride though haha
As my Dad would say: It's 13 minutes of air-conditioned goodness.
Do you like Space Mountain? I rode it for the first time this year and it made me feel sick! Fun story: there were two guys in front of me in the Fastpass line when I rode alone. They were like "Oh you shouldn't waste your Fastpass, why don't you ride with us since we have this booklet thing (don't remember what it was called) and then you can go again?" For some reason I thought they were sort of creepy and I was like "Oh, no thank you." and they asked me again. Weird experience but I'm so glad I didn't ride with them. For one, I got the front seat! And they were seriously creepy.
❄️ Seeking Elsa or Olaf inspired CWs ❄️
I don't think I've even ridden it to be honest. It's at Epcot isn't it? I've only been to Epcot twice and I don't think we got around to it either time
Ahh yeah, that's kind of unsettling :/ Were they considerably older or more 20s kind of? Either way it's kind of creepy, I agree. Especially since I find most people won't really pay much attention to others in line that they don't know. Unless you have kids around the same age, that's about the only time I strike up conversation (mostly with the kids not so much they parents)
It's in Magic Kingdom, in the Tomorrowland section. It's in a really futuristic looking building sort of tucked into a corner at Disneyland.
Probably 20s? I've had some good conversations with other people in line before but that was definitely one of the weirder ones I'd had. I whipped out my phone and pretended to text someone and I think they eventually got the message. I considered telling a cast member but I knew there was nothing they could do about it, really - so I just made sure I knew where they were.
And then I thought I saw them in the park and sort of freaked out! I wonder if they were genuinely offering or if they had another agenda in mind. And I mean, I'm pretty young - teenage girl - so chances are they probably had something else not so nice planned. :/
❄️ Seeking Elsa or Olaf inspired CWs ❄️
Ah okay yeah I know which one it is now Is it the indoor roller coaster?
Oh yeah, I'm sure if they were being nice they would've asked rather than suggested Like "Hey since you're a single rider we have this thing if you'd like?" I dunno, there's a million ways to ask and not be creepy, so I'm sure your gut was right!
Yup! It's sort of dark and you can't really see what is in front of you. There are a lot of lights!
I'm glad I listened to my gut. Thankfully that was the only creepy experience I've ever had at Disney. I sure hope those guys didn't try anything on anyone else. I bet they thought that since I'm young, maybe I don't know English, that I'd go along with them.
❄️ Seeking Elsa or Olaf inspired CWs ❄️
I'm not into collecting pins, though I want to get into it. I have a season pass to Disneyland and I always look at them but I just haven't gotten into them yet, mostly because I feel overwhelmed; I don't know where to start. :c
Yeah, I hope so too :/ Maybe you telling them no kind of deterred them from trying again
Yeah, I think that's why when I went last February I didn't get any haha There's so many cool pins, it's hard to decide which ones to get P:
Fingers crossed. That's probably the weirdest thing I've ever encountered at Disney before though. I mean, why would you even try that sort of thing at a family establishment? Supposing that they were trying to do something, especially because the ride is dark. You don't see much inside that ride as well.
❄️ Seeking Elsa or Olaf inspired CWs ❄️
I completely agree! The sad thing is, a lot of creepy people take advantage of those kinds of establishments It's why people can't really enjoy vacations, they're always worried about something bad happening
Heck I worry taking my kiddos to the store sometimes :/ I just can't believe people like that exist :(
Sometimes there are some people that just ruin the experience. But I always think karma will come back to bite them in the behind and everything will work out in the end.
I don't think they were creepy, more like guys looking to maybe pull a prank or something. Who knows, maybe it was one of those social experiment YouTube videos. Hopefully karma struck back.
