The biggest update I would like to see are post likes not resetting every day. I understand why HA likes do - your HA can change daily. But forum likes I feel are most useful as an aggregator over time. Most people don't go back and modify all of their posts every day. It's much more interesting to see that 15 people liked this post overall, rather than just 1 person today.

I do know why it did that (the same reason daily avatar likes didn't carry over), but that is what was fixed here haha

This would probably annoy some people but I would love the option to 'like' a news post. Sometimes I just don't have anything to comment about, but I still like it, but that's just me...

I so agree with this.
Yes I am happy that people now have the likes working for them. but I was going for 2K HA likes, and I was like 20 likes away. just grrr.
I know these are some "nice" features, but can we get some other things fixed first around the site besides these little things that are not of real importance.
So does this mean pet likes will not reset on a daily basis?
They may seem like they aren't important to you, but this (likes) is something that is called on every forum post and every news topic. Fixing it (and moving it to the new system I talked about a little on the item prices page) will help longterm stability a lot. :)

I think that there just seems to be so many glitches right now and it is a bit frustrating seeing new things being pushed ahead instead of things being fixed. But then of course we don't know all of the changes you plan and I am sure they will be for the best and will help with the glitches and the site running more smoothly, and I know it is a time consuming thing (hubby works in IT, so I know how it all works) and I know it can be a slow process, but I would take a "bandaid" fix for some things while all the new stuff is being implemented. (again, I know, more work) :P

OOOOOOOHHH my gosh! I have been wishing for pet like options for soo long! I am so excited about this feature.
Except really sad about the avatar likes thing being reset. It took me so long to get 27 and I feel like even that was an accomplishment. 😭
