The biggest part for me is the quality of the art. No other site in this genre really fits the bill for me quite so much like Subeta does! It makes the collecting and wardrobe features a lot more fun, because everything is so nice to look at.

I take long hiatuses every now and then but I always end up coming back.

I come here everyday for quests, customizing my HA, occasional events and to simply kill some time, but I think what really keeps me playing are my lovely lovely pets. I should start writing their stories soon as I have thought up something for the most of them. :)

Chatting on here is my favorite thing to do. I eventually want to get to my pets, but not sure when.

Pets are pretty and for the sake of sP. I love pure sP, filling my vault is my main goal and it's quite an occupation. XD

I think I'm in the same boat except that I don't have any friends lol.

My main motivation is my HA. I just LOVE customizing it all cute or however I like to dress it up. Otherwise, I really like subeta's prizes from the events? I'm usually most active during events like the zombie viruses or melody during Christmas. They're just really cool and unlike some other sites I know, the prizes are actually cool or I just like getting "infected" as a zombie. ^_^

Also, doing quests can be monotonous, but if you do it every once in a while, it's not too bad and I'm satisfied with the amount of sP, items, and tokens, I receive. I feel subeta really rewards you despite not doing too much. Just doing quests alone can easily raise your sP within a short amount of time it seems. At least, enough to buy simple things. :)

this is a great thread, especially because there are so many of us that have been around for ages and still kind of lurk around here and there.nnI stick around because I still enjoy sub in my downtime, it's so familiar and comfortable that it would be hard for me to ever 100% leave the community even if it has changed a lot from the one I joined so long ago. I basically grew up here 😉 also though there are still some things I want to achieve and collect. although I would love to throw myself back into it and play as much as I used to, a lot of my friends have left (although I stick around to hear from old ones once in awhile and I have a few on fb) and motivation just isn't the same. but who knows, that could change ❤️

Making HAs is a big reason for me--I'm a writer, and I like to be able to visualize characters when I write about them. But mostly, like some others here, I've been part of Subeta for so long I don't think I could ever leave for good.

What keeps me interested are the events and all the beautiful new items that keep coming. During the events, I participate and also quest a lot and do other things. When there's no event, I am less motivated and I just check in to do some dailies and look at the news...

Clear goal really helps to stay active. When I was just saving stuff up with a wishlist that I started to lose interest in, I started really getting on/off on subeta. Actually even had almost half a year of inactivity. No sense saving up 50 mil if you're not gonna spend it. D: So I've actually been buying stuff off my WL more often. I also poked through SubetaLodge for interesting food items, so that also kept me doing something regularly

I enjoy how easy quests are and how exciting events are. My love for the events were ignited after participating in the recent Moro plot, since I've always missed plots in the past!

Plus I usually enjoy the community! I like lounging in the shoutbox, but I've been trying to poke into forums more often, since there's lots of fun topics.

Actually, I probably would've quit in any other situation. I mean, having almost a year of inactivity total? Nuts! But a strong sense of nostalgia keeps me coming back, and the site is always updating~

My subeta pets and ha are a very good source of drawing inspiration for me, so while it's not all I do it's the main draw for me. I also really enjoy working on my pets (colour, species, food, books, battling, tc, profile, etc), which gives me motivation to save up sp and whatnot, so I end up with quite a lot to do here haha. I'm also trying to be less of a lurker and post on the forums more.

I also struggle with attention and motivation (due to ADHD and other things) so i know how that feels! in fact i kinda disappeared from subeta for a few months before october 2014 because I didn't feel like using the site (i guess i'd lost interest.) But what made me come back is hearing that my friend kelly was active in subeta. i think having active friends on a website i like helps me get motivated because i feel i can talk to that friend about it and help each other out. I rly like working on HAs! i like making, saving and making sP too :) i also rly like the events. when there's no events i spend my time questing, doing Caliph's tomb, working on my shop, saving up for items i want, etc. For more motivation and goals, I'm going to try to work on my pets more. I have a lot of ideas that I need to flesh out.

Major events like Masquerade and Luminaire keep me coming back.

I did miss out for a considerable chunk of the past two years due to issues with living in an incredibly restrictive homeless shelter, but now that I'm away from there... Well, I've got a goal for this December - to save up a minimum of 24mil to spend on giftbombing - that's already almost met and will probably be tripled by mid-year...

I'm also going to focus a bit on finally working on cutting down my steadily-growing wishlist, once my Luminaire goal is met. So yay, more motivation!

My pets. Even though I've been losing inspiration with some of them, I've been trying to get back to doing things with them... since I really don't have anyone to talk to on here. =S So that's the only reason I stay.

Honestly, IDK. My pets, I guess. I put a shitload of time/work into getting the names I have and all that. Like hell if I'm going to just give up my pixels. Otherwise, I guess it's just convenience. I don't have the time to devote to building my way up from the bottom on a new site, so I just stick around.

I like hitting up the major events if I have time and finding new books to read to my pet. It doesn't really do anything since I don't really battle much, but it's fun to visit the holiday shops and grab all the event books for Chums.
