Have you tried switching to another layout? You can try that here: http://subeta.net/preferences.php?act=layout And have you tried on another browser to see if you still have the issue? I am also using firefox but I don't have any kind of bar. You may want to delete some events and run a virus scan to make sure that you don't have a virus that is causing that to show.
