Okay so up until later in the day yesterday every single event/alert had a little minus circle next to it that allowed you to delete just that single event/alert.
Example (sorry this is the only one I had off hand in my imgur):

Currently, there's only one at the top (which you have to hit several times to get it to go away, several more times apparently if you're browsing via mobile device), and one random minus sign that doesn't actually delete the event/alert it's next to-- but instead a totally random one that often isn't even in the same grouping as the one you tried to delete.
I had my friend try this too, and she's getting basically the same results I am.
Here's an example of what I mean (since I'm sure minus circle is very explanatory):

I'm currently running Google Chrome Version 39.0.2171.71 m on a Windows 7 PC, however I have had the same issue on my phone all day (which is a Galaxy S android phone, on the Dolphin Browser version whatever is most recent in the play store).
According to this thread, it's due to the font being changed slightly.
AHaha! I thought it was so weird there wasn't a board about this yet (it's about to drive me nuts), I never would have thought to look in that one (I noticed the font changes, but as odd as they are they don't bother me so much)
