I've been noticing this problem ever since the Item Scramble revamp, but never actually timed it out. When you're playing Item Scramble and hit the "Next Round" button, the page load time is very slow in comparison to the rest of the site (with the exception of the forums... so slow, but that's a different topic).
I eventually started timing how long it took between hitting the "Next Round" button and when my next round actually loaded on the screen. In my opinion, anything more than 10 seconds is too long since mostly everything else on the site loads in less time than that.

Sometimes the load time is so long that I have time to visit Facebook, read my entire news feed, come back to my Subeta tab, and my new round is still not loaded. It can't just be my computer because the rest of the site is fine. Can this please be looked at?
For what it's worth, I have this problem in both Firefox and Safari (latest versions of both).
Checking in again - is it still happening?

I tested it out myself on Firefox and noticed a bit of lag time too. I made a report to staff, however this is likely a lower priority bug at this time. But hopefully they'll be able to take a look and fix it if it's easy enough to do. :)
Thanks for the update, . I figured it would be a low priority. Gives me a chance to check Facebook between rounds ;)
Tested, and this does still seem to be loading slow.
Do the pages still seem to be loading slowly?
- There are definitely times it's still slow, but it's tolerable.

- I had a strange error the other day playing it, but it's only happened once. I hit the "next round" button, and the next page that displayed said that I had run out of time. I wasn't even given the option to unscramble anything! :o I haven't gotten that ever again though.
Did you hit it like right after finishing the previous round, or after awhile? I didn't even know there was a time limit on it. :o
- I didn't know there was a time limit either, except for the challenge round! That's why I was so surprised by that page :o I think I hit the button right after finishing the previous round, though it could have been 10 or 15 seconds after.
i optimized the item selection a bit, because that's what was making this slow, i'm not 100% sure how much better it will be though! seemed better to me when i was testing at least :)
