so i screencapped my working version of Ibuki's page. CLICK the two images will layer over the writing. the two pink shapes up top will be minion and spotlight. the one under the main box is for the tc, and these three will drop down. the two little ones on the side will switch between page one [story] and page two [credits/art]. any major changes you would like?

Oh man, so far it looks fantastic! There are only two small things I can think to nitpick/bring up. There are some triangles of white on the two images that shouldn't be there. (ie: on the jollin's tail and on some spots of the person's hair) The other thing is I'm not sure where exactly the text area will be, so will the person's arm be covering some of it? It looks like it extends rather far into the text box so I just worry text at the top will be hard to read. I do like how you've placed everything though. Otherwise I absolutely love it so far!

the white is because my photoshop doesn't get transparent images anymore. it gives them a black background so it doesn't go smoothly. i can try and fix them up but theres sadly no promises on perfection. the font box i can keep a little more inwards so the arm isn't a big issue, or i can make a second version. so here is the cleared up images as much as i could. and here is a version with the box shifted more under only the overlay.

Thank you, the images look much cleaner. And hm, I like the size of the text box in the first image you showed me most, although I know there's still then an issue with the text space... Do you know how to do images that are transparent until you hover? If so maybe something like that for the portion of the image that's over the text box would be best. like this and this. (But you know, less badly done haha.)

alright so really the hovering makes them all separate images so i'm not sure if i can make the pages at the same time as the hovers?? i can try and if it doesn't turn out i can make the hover on the image into one with less opacity when you hover? so the box wouldn't go over the image of her would just be more transparent. owo

and i'll take either payment, but i'll always accept CSC generally. i was thinking of putting specific slot types soon anyways to help tidy up the page.

Ah I hadn't thought it might mess with that;; If you're able to make something work as far as hovering transparency goes then awesome, but if not maybe moving the human up would be enough to not need transparency? Because I would definitely like to keep the pages. like this. (but less badly done) Either would be fine with me, so go with whichever is easiest/works coding-wise for you. :D
