She keeps asking for bombs from me. Has anybody else experienced an unusual amount of bomb requests? Let's hope she really isn't using them for such a thing.

This is an interesting theory!! I don't generally do Maleria quests. I barely have the energy to do the weekend quests. I've just started doing Quentin fairly regularly cause of the cool items he gives out and I would like to incorporate Library quests into my routine as well. I definitely want to do them tonight, since they're the weekend quest. Now you've got me curious about Maleria, lol!! Perhaps I'll give her a visit later!

Yes, you're right. We need more answers to this! This is such a strange thing.

I have chronic pain and fatigue so I have a hard time doing the usual stuff, and now that they've come up with the forum shop I'm spending at least an hr every night posting. I guess I need to learn to shorten my posts. I'm a talker!! I will try to do a few maleria quests and get back to you! I wonder if posting more than once on the same forum (in the same day) only counts as one post toward the number of posts needed before we get a point?

EDIT: I think it must only count as one post since my number of posts was 1661 before I posted and still was the same afterward. Hmmm!! That's sort of disturbing!!

It's funny that you noticed Maleria and her request for bombs. I haven't noticed any increase for her asking about them, but one time she wanted me to fetch a Furry Anyu Fury Bomb .

Several quests later, she gave it back to me. I wondered if she had lit the fuse and handed it back to me for a laugh.

I still haven't had a chance to do any quests since this thread was started cause my back has been out. I can't be sitting up long. I truly NEED a laptop, lol. I had to come back here though cause I wanted to see what other ppl were saying.

That's funny about the idea of a war between Shinwa and Maleria. Actually a war between any of the quest givers. Maybe they could fight over who gives the best quest and their fight would involve trying to outdo each other in the rewards they give. That would be a cool new way to boost our quest points and overall rewards. Something in addition to weekend quests, the "battle of the quest givers."

What do you think ??? Would you suggest that to the admin here? It was your idea, and I think it would be an awesome way to keep ppl interested between events. Keith said that ppl logging in drops off a lot when there isn't an event, maybe this could be another boost to keep ppl coming back!! :)

Yeah yeah, that does sound interesting, since I don't think a quest-centric plot has ever come out (Mori-Nori could also be a plot! :D ). Esp since I think I recall Keith not particularly liking RS wars.

Eek, I've never tried suggesting a plot, but I could try bring it up. (I would also have no problem if someone else tried to suggest it. :3) Because battles between fallen beings of great power is one of my favorite things. Or maybe a plot where you THINK it's Maleria causing chaos, but it's a third party when you realize both Shinwa and Maleria have disappeared mysteriously, despite chaotic on goings. :O So like, maybe various shops or areas of subeta could close down, and as the plot progresses, things start to open back up, as people prepare against the 3rd party threat.

No need to apologize for blabbing to me. I'm a big blabber. People started telling me that I talked too much when I was only 3 and it's scarred my life, since it didn't stop there. I've even had ppl criticize me HERE for talking too much about my personal life on chat threads, in a cult where it was supposedly OK to talk about anything. But they criticized me in subversive ways, so that it was a matter of opinion, so I couldn't exactly report them.

I love your ideas. I didn't grow up in the era of role playing as it's known today. I'm 59. Our idea of role playing was to make up a sort of musical play to the music of one of my mom's record albums (yeah, vinyl) and she had a lot of musicals that we loved to listen to. So we'd get in front of our parents and dance and sing etc.

I am even too old for D & D as that game came about when I was in my 20's (I think, I was born in 1955) and I was already married at 24 (a 9 year mistake in some respects) so now when ppl do role playing I'm not really into it. I don't think of myself as creative in that way. Yet I came up with some ideas on two different threads when I was bouncing off of YOUR thoughts.

I like what you have to say and I'm not one to make suggestions. I try to keep a low profile with the admin here because I feel as if I have 3 heads, being so much older than the average player. I think your ideas are great, and all that you said about the shops closing, and the hidden 3rd party threat is very cool.

I was never good at RPing, even if I love the idea, but I always love to see what people do with it! For example, the NPC profiles when they decide to pop in forums or the news or the SB, always fun. Especially Elwood, heh.

Even if suggestions stem from a single topic, the best fun is from having several people to bounce the same idea with. 8D That's why I'm super happy to see you reply to my ideas, eee~

Aw, you seem like a rad person. And I like to see older players on the site. Always nice to have a community of varying age groups. ^_^ But I understand why you'd worry, sometimes people can be butts about age, whether they deem it to be too young or too old. But as long as they're nice and fun to talk to, I could care less. :3

I truly appreciate what you said about chatty ppl and age not being an issue. I think most ppl here are cool about ppl's ages, but that doesn't mean I'm always able to relate to what they're saying. And I think that I write things on forums that nobody knows WHAT to say to. I also suspect that a large number of ppl under 30 don't read anything that's longer than a tweet (which I've never done, I only know it's very short from seeing it as a plot point in a Netflix series).

Oh yeah a war started by Maleria, well as you said it would be very cool if it were a 3rd party thing and I love that you are enjoying that I'm responding to your ideas about that, but all the rest of what I said was totally off topic, so I'll "see" you over at the other thread, lol. :)

What I think is hilarious is doing Shinwa quests, and having her send you to Maleria to get the pieces back.

But no seriously, they've been hinting at the Shinwa v. Maleria showdown for a loooong long long time now. Something has got to give.

I think everybody here is onto something. A plot between Shinwa v. Maleria would be awesome! After all these years of Shinwa would get tired of Maleria breaking her bracelet and hiding the pieces. I would also like to see the Oracle become more involved, she is supposed to be watching those two. Maybe a daily quest to improve a pet's stats, instead of the random event.

Although I really am delighted when I see the Oracle and the other random events happen, such as treasure chest increases. Those good events really make my day, even being hit in the face with a pie! I get that pie in my inventory, free food!

Maybe the people throwing pies are Shinwa and Maleria, from their temples! Hehe :)

I think the oracle is just too lazy to be watching Shinwa and Maleria...like "meh they'll be okay, what could be the worst that happens?" They could destroy the world that's what they could do.

I think you have some good ideas--the daily quest for stat boosting--and I hadn't thought of what you said about Shinwa being upset with Maleria for breaking her bracelet since I don't do those quests often. I'm not too familiar with any of it, but it's a very cute idea.

Also the thing about where the pies are coming from is hilarious!!

My number is low compared to most ppl, and I just started being a forum nut since they opened that shop. Just waiting for them to put books in it. You are either very new here or not a big talker! On my first account, which was 3 yrs old when I lost it, I had only about 160 forum posts. I did NOT like forums at all back then.
