So I have to know, what are some really good DS games you guys can suggest to me? I'm obviously going to play all the Pokemon games but I was wondering what you guys think are some interesting DS games to play. :)

Oh! I've a few to recommend, and I enjoyed all of these. The ones that I REALLY recommend, though, I'll underline.

RPG: Dragon Quest IX: Sentinels of the Starry Skies Suikoden Tierkreis The World Ends With You Phantasy Star Zero

Adventure/Visual Novel-like: Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective Phoenix Wright: Ace Attorney 9 Hours, 9 Persons, 9 Doors Time Hollow Lux-Pain (I love this one, but the localization is horrendous.)

Other: Rhythm Heaven Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow

kingdom hearts dream distance drop or however it is was a lot of fun. It was my first time playing a KH game so I can't really compare it to others, but I enjoyed it.

but i mean if you're obviously gonna play all the pokemon games what more do you need :P

When you say DS do you mean literally DS or also 3DS games?

Harvest Moon Tale of Two Towns is available for DS and 3DS. HIGHLY recommend this game, and most things from the HM series. Newest game is coming out on Feb 15th, it's called Story of Seasons. Eek! -geeking out-

Play the Zelda games!! There's two games out for 3DS, but I can't remember what they are off the top of my head.

IIRC, the two are Ocarina of Time 3D and A Link Between Worlds. Both are very good. Majora's Mask 3D is supposed to be coming out soon, as well.

And while it's been mentioned already, definitely try The World Ends With You.

Oracle of Ages, Oracle of Seasons (and I think Link's Awakening still is) are available in the eShop for like $5, they're old Game Boy games but they're pretty sweet. Link's Awakening is my favorite LoZ game

I second the suggestion for Animal Crossing and I also really like the Brain Age games tbh

I'm super partial to the Mario and Luigi series, especially Bowser's Inside Story! Bowser can go full-on kaiju and beat the heck out of buildings and it's so fun.

While I would totally recommend the Harvest Moon, Mario (especially Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time), and Legend of Zelda series, you should also take a look at the Kirby and Sonic (try Sonic Chronicles: The Dark Brotherhood)series.
