I know this is really old, but I was wondering if the coding was the only thing preventing the site from coming back? I used to use it all the time before i took a year+ hiatus and come back to it being gone. - very sad- but if thats all thats wrong I am a pretty coder and can try and help

Hey, thanks for the offer.

The previous issue was that arvee is set up so that only the admin () can access/fix the code, and so even though we had offers to help, to re-do the set up so that someone else can help with the code would be as much work as fixing it (sorry I don't know the code-smarts way to explain what happened, because I got the dumbed down explanation)

Then recently, we had let our hosting expire for 2 months (?), and didn't realise they would clear all our info, and roblerone didn't save the last few versions of arvee so it's all gone x')

Aw man that sucks big time... I guess I can finally get rid of my arvee bookmark :'( I miss that site a lot, I know keith is trying to do something similar with being able to create and share avatars with items we don't own but it's still not the same easy way that arvee had since there we could easily change skins to ones we didn't have and use hair styles we didn't have and easily change facial features. Idunno I'm just really sad to hear it's gone for good, even though I'm a few months late now. I kept hoping it would come back...
