I think this is a really cool idea o3o And if the artists want to stay nice and far away from Neopets, they could leave the moss out in favour of like... crystal clusters, or geode openings. I think that would be a great alternative to the moss in terms of adding a bit of colour to the pets :)

- Geodes could be cool. :D Especially with pets like the mahar and legeica.

Sounds cool. I'd vouch for pets that looked like: Since in this style the pets would be carved out of....colored stone (marble? tons of types of colored stone) it'd be easy to recreate their markings etc. and would be alot different than neo.

Shadow of the Colossus is BEAUTIFUL. I would love to see pets like this n_n

I'm imagining something like Sir Terry Pratchett's trolls - they can be made out of all sorts of stones or materials, anything from bricks to diamonds, depending on where they were born and grew up, but they all have diamond teeth. Some of them grow moss on their bodies as a fashion statement.

Nice concept but... that shading/colouring is so weird looking... but +1 for the concept being brought over to pet colours.

I STILL WOULD LOVE THIS. ;A; Or just pets that are different stones/gems. One could be jade, another onyx, etc. BUT I WOULD TAKE EITHER. I LOVE THIS NEW OPPONENT.

I'd like it waaaay better without the vines and moss :/. my pets are always battling, they hardly have time for such things to grow on them :P. but rally i just like the aesthetics of pure stone better. But either way, definitively support.

Ohmigawd that Maplestory monster. I loved Maplestory before dupers killed the economy and Nexon pretty much pissed on all of their players.

I think one of the main issues of a color like this is also just the fact that we already have a gargoyle pet on site. If I remember correctly it's why the gargoyle color was shot down originally since it was redundant to have a pet based on a gargoyle and then a gargoyle color on top of it.

That said, if it was different enough, say a stone temple look covered in moss/roots I'd be perfectly fine with this color though.

I just read over that thread because I had no idea what pet was a gargoyle. Apparently it's a magnus. Magnus reminds me nothing of a gargoyle, it's pure dragon to me :/.

So apparently we can revive old suggestion threads without it being considered a necro. I still want this to happen someday.

I got really excited during Vesnali because I thought the totem items might be hinting at something like this, but it didn't happen. :( Maybe next year?
