Welcome to Subeta! I'm not too sure what happened to your pet, maybe you can file a ticket to ask (Subeta > Tickets on the top navigation bar), because that doesn't sound right! Normally if a pet you try to adopt has a taken name, it will tell you a pet already exists with that name n_n I hadn't heard of this problem before
