Well that's cool, it truly looks as though the light you used was red, but you didn't mention it being red, so now I'm wondering, lol! Carving from underneathe sounds more challenging. I haven't carved a pumpkin in yrs and when I was young nobody did such amazingly elaborate ones. We didn't use templates and nobody had thought of the idea to do some of the carving on the surface--or not all the way through, so that you get different levels of light. I really think it's cool how they look when they're carved to different depths in different spots.
That's nice that you have a place to put it outside so the critters can have it. I've lived in apartments for SO many years, and I lost the energy and motivation to carve pumpkins a LONG time ago.
Thanks!! Those are cool, I still haven't gone to Facebook to look at the album of all of the entries. I keep forgetting. It's definitely an advantage to have one that you can put anywhere and it won't start decomposing and seeping all over your things!! :)
