After five-ish months of hiatus, I have returned to the great land of Subeta. Some aspects of the site look quite different now, and there's definitely a lot of interesting content to catch up on!

I'm a teacher aid in a first grade classroom 2 days a week on top of my mountain of assignments, but mannnn do I love it! This is definitely the program I should be in. :) Thank you! I wanted her to look better, but I got too tired to care last night, so I saved it and went to sleep lol

Oh man, sleeping in is seriously like the best thing ever! Letting one's body have all the sleep it wants feels amazing. And omg, a first grade classroom? :O That sounds like a handful! So glad to hear you enjoy it though, I'm sure you're wonderful with the students :D

So true, it's really nice discovering a new name which fits even better than the last :D I love how Subeta still has great ones available, unlike other pet sites I could mention xD it's hard to find a free name on them which doesn't require numbers ...

You're very welcome! I stayed up all night so it's past time for me to get to bed (and I probably won't even sleep right away, I'll watch a movie or two) but I wanted to respond to you before I left since I'm WAY more wide awake than I'll be after I sleep.

I know what you mean about neopets, and it's OK to mention their name here, unlike on neopets where everything you say is a "crime" which I detest about that site. I used to adopt pets from the pound there, I had 2 zapping accounts for adopting and then zapping them til they were "wanted" pets and I would NOT adopt pets with weird names. It was amazing how many truly good names I was able to find, but that was 6 to 8 yrs ago. I stopped doing it when they started having wearable items for pets because their "clothes" would fall off and stay behind when you re-pounded them and I didn't have the energy to go onto the forums and find good owners. Also almost every pet I gave back to the pound ended up on a dead acct, eventually. I used to keep notepads with their names and I'd check up on them now and then and almost always they'd be abandoned after awhile.

As for the user names, it's been SO long since I started a new account there that I was always able to get the names I wanted, but ironically I started my first account w/out knowing what the site was, so it has sort of a silly name, especially considering that I wasn't a kid when I joined. I was 48 and that was nearly 11 yrs ago. I never changed the name on an account there, I didn't even know that was possible on neopets, but I'm sure that they allow it for cash now, anything to make money, right?

I'm sure that one reason that they don't have many good names left is that they allow ppl to have FIVE accounts AND they NEVER get rid of old accounts. I have known ppl who died and their accounts are sitting dormant after nearly 10 yrs, but they never cull any of them. THAT is very dumb!! Well I'm babbling and my hands are getting sore from typing so much so I really should go and rest.
