I'll be adding an option to remove items from drawers (dragging them outside of a drawer?) and a way to add new drawers / rename existing ones soon.
I tested a lot of methods for adding tags to items and just none of them really worked well without making the flow really broken. It took a lot of steps to add a tag, edit tags, or go to tags that you've added.

Awesome! I can't wait till I can edit the drawers in beta wardrobe! n_n Awesome feature.

I need to know what my layers are a lot more often than I need to know what my drawers are. Can we switch these? No that doesn't work. Hmph..
Dragging across to them if they're lower might be too far for some screens. Can we "hide" layers or drawers, or perhaps exchange one for the other by clicking a button?
Is there going to be an option to view only items not in any drawer? I have several drawers with things that I will never use so as to make the items in a layer more manageable.
Edit to add that with a "no Drawer" option it makes it much easier to sort things into drawers. FOr instance, my face items all end up in different drawers. Having everything showing rather than just those not already sorted into drawers makes it kind of confusing.
Not really the goal of drawers, so probably not.

you probably missed my edit since you were posting while I was editing. There is another reason have a "no drawer" option is good: with a "no Drawer" option it makes it much easier to sort things into drawers. For instance, my face items all end up in different drawers. Having everything showing rather than just those not already sorted into drawers makes it kind of confusing.
I don't see the harm in seeing a "No Drawer" option...we have that now, plus how are we supposed to know what to sort where if we can't tell what's already sorted or not?
Though thank you so much for moving our drawers over, there's been a nasty rumor going around that they wouldn't be imported and I'm very, very relieved to see that was wrong
It wasn't a rumor, I discussed getting rid of them a bunch of times in favor of a tagging system. It just didn't work out that way :)

I use the "no drawer" option when putting things into drawers. I hope that continues. I'm just glad we have drawers again. There are so many face/head items, it makes it daunting without drawers.

Thank you very much!!!!

Ooh, I like the concept of dragging into drawers! (And dragging out is logical enough for removing). But I do wish there was some way of knowing whether an item is already in a drawer. Like, if I've put a bunch of wigs in a drawer and then get several new ones, knowing where I last left off (especially when months go by between adding new ones to the drawer and you don't always remember).
Related to that....the sort items by newest (instead of name) is a little screwy. It -sort of- sorts by newest added, but looks like it actually takes the first 100 newest items and displays them from old-new on page 1, then the next 100 newest from old-new on page 2, etc. It needs to be first 100 newest from new-old on page 1, and so forth.
(EDIT: Actually, that's not even right. I had to look at the page more closely, but sort by newest really just displays a jumble of items that are a bit more new than the items on the next page - but they're definitely not in the the order I added items no matter which way I try to make sense of it.)
If the newest view was working correctly, it would probably be less of an issue to not know whether an item is in a drawer or not. Though, like Georgie, I tended to use the "no drawers" filter to check myself on that in the old wardrobe. I also used the no drawers filter to find things I rarely used without the clutter of things I often use.
Finally, will we be able to put items in more than one drawer with this method?
I actually love the color feature of the new wardrobe. Brilliant. It helps when color matching items. Thank you so much for this.

You've already admitted you don't do wardrobe stuff yourself much so I would be hesitant to jump to this conclusion. I use that feature ALL the time. My drawers currently are "Wigs" "Eyes" and "lips". I know it's not much (well, wigs is a large section in an item heavy layer) but I use the feature of viewing everything BUT the drawer every time I make a new avatar. Every. Time. Need a face item that's not a mouth: boom Need a head item that isn't hair: boom
if there's a way to KEEP the existing functionality, I would 100% suggest and support it.
I know that but even when drawers were discussed I never saw anything saying they wouldn't be moved over and I'm glad to see not only that we got our drawers but that what I heard after the fact was wrong :P
I'm pretty disappointed that there isn't going to be a tag system, I had serious big plans for it.
I never liked the drawer system as it's too cumbersome, I'll have to give them another try. The drag and drop I do like the sound of, maybe it will make it easier.
Not really the goal of drawers, so probably not.

Just pushed a change so that the 'main' section (aka no drawer selected) doesn't show items that are inside of drawers.

Yes, big fan of drawers. Makeup. Hair. Hair Accessories. Masks. Eyewear. Makeup Kit. CW. Headwear. Other Face. Lots of items for the face/head.
