Recently started working for Michael's and it's been rough. Never have I seen so many idiots running around in one company as here. It's been so stressful and I've been loosing vision in my right eye little by little which has not been helping.

What I'm trying to say is. Hopefully everyone is having a great holiday! If you find random gifts later on in the year, count it as a Russian Christmas gift from a lady who's probably gone crazy. :l

It's not quite a Russian only thing. Some Orthodox Christians celebrate Christmas following the old calendar, hence the 7th of January. Since both parents used to be strongly religious when my siblings and I were kids, we got to experience late Christmas! And while the parents gave up on us with the whole religion thing (we were quite stubborn, lazy, and uncooperative about the whole church thing), we still have a small dinner every 7th. Makes it so much easier to buy presents too! So many discounts all over the place.
