It's funny, I got 2 on the first day and none since then, even though I'm taking care to post often... but it seems like chances have increased an acceptable level :)

I've found more raffle tickets in the past two days than I have in the five months previous. At least the upped odds seem to be working now?

I think it would be funny if there was an achievement for not finding one after 5k, 10k, or 15k of postsxD

I have the worst luck when it comes to random events I swear. I've only ever found 3 since they were introduced, and none since they were upped and upped again lol.

I really appreciate the latest update to the rate at which they go out. (I heard it was 1 in 10 odds but I'm not sure how accurate that is.) Thank you!

I found like 4 when Keith posted that he increased the odds again, but I haven't found anymore since then :c

I found my first one ever yesterday.. and I got one about half an hour ago so I'm liking the increased odds.

Did they decrease the odds again? I was finding tons after the post about increased odds but I seem to be finding less and less.

I can see how it would be an issue for those who hardly post but we can't win them all.

So i just got my first one and i was just utterly confused what to do, the ticket sat in my inventory there was no redeem button anymore, then i found a clickable link in the description which is entirely illogical since not a single item on the site has a link in the description. So that's not where people are going to look. Then you end up on the forum shop page where there are also multiple links so you have to seek for the right one that allows you to redeem your ticket.

Usability? Anyone? You have to place information and links where people will expect to find them. Links are not expected in item descriptions. You can't directly redeem anymore from your inventory while in the past they were redeemable from your inventory. So the item stayed, but the use became different. Pretty much every item you need to redeem you redeem from in your inventory. Except for the raffle tickets now apparently. So everyone just has to have a sixth sense so they can sense that there is for one exceptional time a url in a description and that for one exceptional time you can't redeem from in your inventory.

I'm here for 6 years and a half and I'm still having issues not being able to find links because they are not where they should be.

So my questions:

• Why is there for one time an url in a description
• why is there no redeem button
• why is it: On item click> click on url in description> forum shop click > done.

I feel like it's been made super complicated while it could have been done so much simpler and so much more userfriendly.

Now lets hope the right person reads this.

Found 3 in 7 years, not even one since the change. I'm not that active in the forums though =) Maybe I'll manage to get enough raffle tickets to buy at least one item over the next years X)

In all the time I've been on the site, I've found like... ONE raffle ticket. I'm please with the increased odds and the changed system, because it gives people who post a lot an advantage in obtaining those shop items. I'm not a battler, I'm not a fast restocker, I don't have the talent for CW and CI competitions. I don't spend enough time on Subeta anymore to do much more than post in the forums and play games. It's nice to see a different group of people rewarded for their participation.

These forums have changed drastically since I first joined. I remember crazy-active friendships and rivalries, worrying my thread would disappear before anyone paid attention to it, B&C threads that went on for many, many pages. Now only the event forums ever have that much activity. If we can encourage a move towards a more cohesive (and talkative!) community, I'm all for it. It would be so much better to have everyone talking instead of gathering on side sites and complaining about lack of communication. Rewards - like this revamping of the Raffle Tickets - are a good step.

I agree with , the redemption functionality is a little lacking. I redeemed the ticket and then sat on my hands for a while, frustrated, until I remembered there was still a news post on the front news page with the information and a link to the shop. Never occurred to me to check or hover over the item description.

I'd like a redeem function similar to the Subeautique one, where it's obvious and evident you're redeeming a ticket and being taken to a shop.

I don't mind the link in the descriptions, but I'm one to look at descriptions, so I can see why the link being there can be a problem. It seems counter-intuitive to every other redeemable thing we have. I can imagine if someone uses customcss or a layout where the link color isn't all that different from the text color redeeming a raffle ticket is going to be a nightmare. :3 tl;dr changing to redeem link akin to things we have is good

My initial euphoria has calmed down, not found any more in 5 days. Maybe after we all posted, how many we got, they tweaked the odds again?
