I bet some of you were expecting a mermaid out of my, but after all the Nessie looks it was time to look elsewhere for inspiration...
This is inspired by the Leanan sÃdhe of Celtic folklore.
You may recognize that term from Lost Girl (The Morrigan) or The Dresden Files (Harry's fairy godmother). While I love both of those characters, I didn't use them for inspiration. Instead I went with an artistic temptress type.
I love all of the looks so far!
Edit: I almost forgot her ear tips!
That, and someone else is attempting to make one. So you will still get to see your beloved mermaid. LOL
I went a bit more specific and attempted in to modernize an Egyptian goddess.
Nut: Egyptian goddess of the sky; mother of Isis, Osiris, Nephthys & Seth. It was believed that her body created a canopy over the earth.
True... but all the fun stuff I would do for a mermaid I used on Nessie. Bella is taking the look to a fun place.
Oh! Speaking of.. I know you were looking to borrow that anchor necklace, remember this event is CW free.
thank you so much, I definitely forgot about that!
I kept looking at hosiery and wings that were CWs. It was a pain in the rear.
thank you so much! <3 i LOVE your wing/necklace/salon combo :) love love love your look!
i skipped the fall theme :( well i'm still in time for the last one...
here is my Kappa
"Kappa are mischievous legendary creatures, a type water sprites found in Japanese folklore. In medieval Japan, this humanoid creatures were believed to dwell in lakes, rivers and swampy areas"
Edit: i'm so getting old o.o i did post my entry for fall theme and actually forgot i did XD
Finally am not late! I did a take on Vesta, Roman goddess of hearth and home.

ps ugh no cw is hard :( especially since my salon skill is meh.
I started with the drive to create a yeti-inspired look, but then I got lost in it and moved on to a manticore which ended up looking more succubus-y.
"The manticore is a Persian legendary creature similar to the Egyptian sphinx. It has the body of a lion, a human head with three rows of sharp teeth, sometimes bat wings, and a trumpet-like voice. It may be horned, winged, or both. The tail is that of either a dragon or a scorpion, and it may shoot venomous spines to either paralyze or kill its victims."
