Hi I've had Netflix for over 10 yrs and I just did a search there for Supernatural and they have it. It's streaming so if it's this:

"Raised by their dad to fight supernatural forces, grown siblings Dean and Sam crisscross the country in their 1967 Chevy Impala, investigating paranormal activity and picking fights with deadly demons, ghosts and monsters."

...then it's there starting with the first season in 2005. That sounds like the show that everyone is talking about, is it not? Are you in the US? I just heard that Netflix is new to Europe and if that's the case they might not have all the same shows streaming. Also, I pay for both a streaming and a DVD package, which are separate, but billed together. I think it's very reasonable. I'm on the plan to have 4 DVDs out at a time plus streaming of anything they have available and I think I pay around 35 or 40/month and that's all the TV I need. It's cheaper than Cable.

Try searching it again, it came up as the top hit for me on Netflix. Good luck, and I'm glad you all kept mentioning it because now I can put it on my watch list and start watching! Hooray, it sounds good!!

I live in Europe, Austria, and we just got Netflix last month. So I can't watch it ._. Maybe it's because of the DVD package, because when I searched it via google I got this:

'The Netflix DVD Service is only available for customers in the U.S. Please go to the Netflix home page by clicking the button below.'

I have a friend here who lives in Austria and she told me that Netflix was new there, but I don't understand that message you got. Are they saying that the DVD rentals are not available in Europe, but you can still get streaming?

Since you said that you just got Netflix does that mean that for now you have only streaming? That would make sense because it would be a lot easier to offer streaming first and then if people there like Netflix they might eventually offer the DVD's. It would mean setting up distributors to send the DVDs in the mail, but the streaming would be so much easier to set up first, so DO you have streaming Netflix?

I am being overly efficient in asking you because Supernatural IS available here as a streaming program, not one that you need to get the DVDs to watch. And since it's so popular (and has been out a long time) I would think that they would offer it there as well. When you said that you just got Netflix did you mean that you signed up for a monthly plan and paid a fee? Maybe I don't understand what you meant by that. I want you to be able to watch your show!!

...and you're right, I think I would like it very much. I'm 59 and I've always loved shows with supernatural aspects. I actually believe in other worldly beings such as spirits (friendly ones who are stuck in between the worlds, sometimes confused).

I used to have cats who would stare over my head when there was nothing there. Cats can see spirits, and in several photos I took of my cats they were staring right AT some white spirals that looked exactly like the sort of thing that they show on programs where they're attempting to prove the existence of a meta-physical world. Those spirals are never visible to the naked eye but they CAN be caught on film. Those are awesome photos! :)

That's what I thought too. Yes, I did sign up and have to pay a monthly fee of 9 euro. It's not that much since it's only streaming and for 2 different computers at the same time. The more expensive one didn't have anything else this one doesn't have too, except for 2 more people can watch on different computers at the same time.

My cat always does this and then I'm always like "OMG I hope there's nothing behind me!" and in night times I always just go away from where I stood very fast xD Whoa, that's cool! I never took a picture of my cat when he looked like this but maybe I should. O_O

Yep, I finally put Supernatural on my list, but now I'm getting into Ugly Betty. I haven't been in the mood for suspense or thrillers lately. I normally love a good mystery, but I've been watching a lot of "feel good" romantic comedies and "fluff" lately. I think I simply need to be cheered up, especially at this time of year. I've been watching movies that I thought were dumb 20 to 30 yrs ago and actually laughing out loud. I guess I'm mellowing with age, lol!!

Cats truly ARE amazing and I DO think they see other "worlds." It would be fun if you tried that. I have a friend who claims that those images are nothing, that they happen on photos all the time (he's a butt head). Well he's not actually a friend anymore, I'm really tired of him, enough said about that. But I wonder if those images would be seen on digital the way they were on the photos which were printed (before digital was the only thing ppl did).

I'm not even sure I'm using the right word. I know that most ppl use digital cameras now and film sort of went the way of the dinosaur. Ppl put photos on their I-pods, comps and cell phones, I guess. I've never had a cell phone or I-pod. Some of it is a mystery to me. I guess that's still referred to as digital if it's an image on a cell phone. I don't know what else to call it.

I don't know what all they can see, though I believe that animals can see spirits, or 'things' we just can't see. Maybe they just feel them and cen't see them either, I don't know. But I really believe they know if there is something we can't see.

It would be fun to try this when a cat looks straight at a point where is 'nothing' and you try to focus that point with a digital camera and a old film camera and make a photo at the same time. xD

As far as Ugly Betty goes, I don't have my TV hooked up to anything like cable or a satellite dish so there's nothing being broadcast. It would be a waste of money that I can't afford since there's not enough on TV to interest me. If I were rich I might have it because then I could get premium channels such as HBO. But a basic package would be more cost than it's worth.

So now that Netflix has so many TV shows I'm just beginning to discover TV again, after years of watching nothing but movies (primarily on DVD) but I used to rent tapes as well, and I remember when a DVD was like Christmas morning, it was just SO amazing!! I grew up with just 3 TV stations and NO way to watch anything other than going to the theatre--and we did that a LOT in the 60's.

So what is my point. I'm not sure, I'm very distracted for some reason. Maybe it's Morostide, but I'm also very anxious right now. I probably need to take my meds. I waited too long to eat today and I finally am getting around to that now, it's after 5 PM here and I got up around 11 AM.

I realize I haven't responded to your post. I wrote something long that was TOO long so I'm just going to mail it, and I will try to get back here and actually respond to the things you said about photographing cats etc, after awhile!

I mostly watch shows on the internet anyway, but we still have cable TV. Well, my mother never uses the internet so she mostly watches TV and my little brother and sister have to share a computer, so at the weekend one of them is always watching TV. xD

I heared from my mother that when she was a child, they only had TV until noon or something and just on the weekend it was a little bit longer and maybe 2 TV channels ^^

I don't know how to watch shows on the internet other than streaming Netflix. How do you watch them? (or maybe I should say where, what websites, and are they free?)

I wanted to respond to what you said about photographing cats. I think the idea of taking two photos, one of each type at the same time is excellent.

And your idea to take the photo when they seem to be staring at nothing is also a good one. All the photos that I have with the images were photos where I was intentionally photographing the cats so they're in the frame as the subject and the images are still right there. In one photo I had a kitten who was looking up from the floor and in the photo the images are RIGHT where she was looking, and not far from me. Some ppl believe that I have at least one, if not more, spirit guide who's hanging out with me, so that might be why I saw those images. But most ppl probably have someone watching over them. I firmly believe the cats can see them, or sense them. They don't have particularly good vision. They can see movement and the see better at night, but I've read that they don't recognize us visually. They know our voices and scent, and what they hear is about 7 times more loud than how WE hear it, so they even know the sound of how different ppl move about, I think.

I JUST put that on my WL in the last couple days, and the book!! Well books are my favorite things so I am jazzed about that. I love books the way most ppl love wearables, and I collect more than one of the same book for various reasons.

I wanted to let you know that your letter meant a lot to me, and Morostide is a busy time so if I don't get around to responding I will try to when things settle down. I'm generally slower at doing things, esp since I'm trying to put all my treats away as I get them, and I always make everything complicated so I won't even try to explain that.

Oh no! I changed my HA to something that was saved in my wardrobe, and it was very cool, but then I forgot to add the hypno-monocle so I just got hexed. Oh well!! I hope it doesn't last too long!
