somehow I said I was from Montreal when I noticed Cathii was Canadian too, and it started the whole thing! The poutine love is strooooong here lol!!

you have to know one thing, tho... unless they import the ingredients directly from here in Quebec, any poutine you will try in the world, USA etc., is not really "it" anyways. because the cheese is not really cheddar, not really even cheese to start with... it's cheese curds, a byproduct, the squeaky stuff!! the consistency and the way it semi-melts and its super salty taste makes the poutine. same for the sauce, it's not gravy really, and please gawd not bbq either; it's... different... so mostly there are versions of it, and that's why people tend to think it tastes gross, because the combination only is delicious when it's the right stuff, otherwise it's so eeew and awkward :O

you don't understand, poutine is like.. the best of the best of the BEST junk food ever! And you can have it in a million different flavors too! Hot sauce, pulled pork, onions, bacon, mushrooms -drools- (whenever im drunk, I need poutine in my life ;D)

right? I tried finding cheese in the states to make a poutine (was there for a short while and I was craving one) but it totally wasn't the same, even if I'd brought a few pouches of st-hubert poutine sauce. The cheese makes it all, I tell you!

You're right! Poutine is a walking heart attack and sticks like glue to your hips, but it is SOOOO good!

I'm sorry it took a bit longer than I thought to finish! I had a fully finished version of the cape... only to realize it actually looked like real feathers (as in, a bird reference) as opposed to a fishy/scaled version. So I redid it entirely and voila!

Since I don't know for how long this event will be going, I'll go ahead and say that each winning item will be available for 2 weeks only! I will be slotting the first batch, then tossing the item in my cw shop until the two weeks are over. This item will never be re-released again, nor will it have any other recolors! Half the profit from the sales will be given to our lovely winner n_n

Theme : Underwater and oceanic creatures (includes sharks, turtles shrimps, octopus, seahorses etc!) Deadline : June 15th, 11.59pm subeta time

Post the image of an on-site item whose colors you really love, then create any type of cw (excluding backgrounds, sorry!) around it. The item itself does not need to be ocean related, as long as you like its colors! The theme of your cw should however be underwater/oceanic!

You may only post ONE icon and ONE cw idea -- there will be NO recolors of the winning item as it should be based off the item you picked!

What you need to provide

1. The posted icon of the item you picked!

2. Optional name and/or description

3. Type of item (clothes, wig, accessory etc. BACKGROUND IDEAS ARE NOT ACCEPTED, as I do those in collab with my bf usually, who is currently very busy!)

4. Detailed text/image description of what you're portraying as a representation of your item! (

5. If you have a CI idea, please add this in, otherwise I'll whip something up that I think would match!

The golden rule - the more descriptive you are (references, pictures, colors, text description etc.), the higher the chances of winning! I would rather draw someone else's ideas than interpret a very vague one n_n. & of course be original!

The winner of the challenge will receive - A free copy of the cw drawn AND half the csc profit generated from the sales
