Inspiration
Do we need to list the items we used and say which we own and which we don't? I can attach that if need be =)
Here is my entry:
Inspiration
I knew I wanted to do a honey bee but I really loved the bright fiery colors of the flowers in this picture
I put them under a spoiler since you've seen them before
I tried to make it more interesting than just a pink HA, so it's kind of like the different hues that can be found in a sakura flower... But also I tried to get that "falling leaf" movement or spring "windy" movement in the HA. :)
I actually quite like this look and will probably wear it since I made it purely out of my own wardrobe and only used... 8 CWs on this (3 of which are my face/body)... out of 27 pieces :O I'm kinda proud that I didn't use CWs as my main pieces. And it was also my first time using the salon feature (I know I rely too heavily on CW wigs >.>).
Anyhow enough blathering. ;)

possible inspirations
Spring to me is:
The wet of the rain, mud puddles, rich dark dirt, tiny green sprigs,
Fields of wildflowers, especially bachelor buttons, and dandelions gone to seed <3
The dark purples and navies of thunderclouds, the golden yellow and oranges of the sun breaking through,
The intensity of sunrise and sunset

Since everybody posted already so much pics about bright spring days and flowers, I decided to post a HA inspired by a spring evening, the last rays of sunshine during dusk on one of the first spring days, tree leaves only slowly unfurling, coiling up again at the end of the day because it´s still fresh, yearning for more spring sun. I love this pic which shows so many German spring evenings, especially with the dusty light we have here in the Ruhr area which is very industrial shaped. The flowers and butterflies adorning the HA are showing the beginning of spring and I think the light is good reflected, like we see it here in nature.

My HA entry - I love daisies and butterflies, so I had to use this image as inspiration!
