I'm sorry, im sorry! I was super busy irl this weekend, shopping/went out with family and it completely got out of my mind that I had a schedule/calendar lol qqqqqq
The calendar is approximative, but I'll make that up, I promise!
DAY SEVEN CW CONTEST TIME! I don't know how I'm going to manage to draw this on time, but I will, so here goes!
Theme: winter (it doesn't have to be lumi/holidays themed, it could be snow/ice/anything else that isn't an umbrella and a seastar!) Deadline: entries will close december 10th @ 11.59pm subeta time (approximatively 3 days and a half from now)
1st place: the cw idea will be drawn and released publicly during the event. The winner will get half of all profit made! 2nd & 3rd places: 2 items from the cw category in this shop
Post an idea that is related to winter. It can be clothes, accessories, wigs. References are strongly suggested, even if only for a basic guideline otherwise I'll have to interpret loosely! If you have a ci idea, go ahead! If you can't find any, I'll just whip up an idea that I think would work well with the overlay (: There will be no recolors of this cw and it will never be re-released. If there is a color you really want, be sure to describe/reference it!
I will announce the winner shortly after the deadline closes, probably in the afternoon of december 11th -- and then take a few days to a week to draw the cw and post it up!
And lastly, please note that this contest excludes backgrounds and companions. My bf doesn't have time to make more backgrounds at the moment and I'm truly terrribble at drawing animals & companions in general!

Idea 1
Type of item: Hair
Overlay description: Referance1 Referance2 Either a braid leading to a braided bun (or just a side braided bun) that is braided into a snowflake shape or has a sparkling blue snowflake pinned into it
Color of the overlay: Blonde or platinum (White) hair with a sparkling blue snowflake
CI description: Snowflake with whisps of hair escaping behind it
Anything else?: I think it would be cute to have some wisps of hair floating across the face or escaping the bun, like the first reference, making it look softer but up to your creativity!
If the CW wins does the person who posted the idea get a copy? or just half of the profits?
Also, I am not sure if my second idea is seen as a background (Though it would go there or foreground) but I think it's fairly simple? If it is considered a background please let me know and I will change it!

Type of item: Foreground/background item?
Overlay description: So this idea is a bit different, but I am so excited to share it.. I'd like an item sorta like the or mixed with The idea is this, the filter of white, or pale pale blue (I will leave this to your creative discretion) and covers the whole ha, or background but has 'cut outs' in it to allow background materials to show through at the regular colors something similar to frosted glass, allowing the background to come through in the dense portions of the snowflake (Or the opposite!) Referance
Color of the overlay: I think white would be best but a light light blue could work as well for the filter color
CI description: I would very much like the CI to be a sillohette scentsy pot Referance
Anything else?: Item name could be 'Frosted Winter Scent'

Overlay description: I would really like a Snowflake accessory like earring. I know it's rather difficult to get intricate things for the HA, since it'll be small, but here is a reference to what I mean.
Either a dangly one like this (with or without the stone, but prefer white stone over blue):

Something along those lines would be lovely, but it's completely up to interpretation on how you do the snowflake etc..
Color of the overlay: Silvery white, maybe even icy colored like blue, but preferred white. (Though if it works out more dainty without color, then black lines could work too, it's the same shape anyway)
CI description: Probably the Snowflake in a ring box (a box that opens with a hinge) or, even just the earring/snowflake on a pillow.

Anything else?: This applies to both ideas, I really like dainty pieces of jewelry, but obviously I know it's difficult to get that in such a small piece, but I just wanted to mention it so that maybe if you pick this when you're drawing it, it can be more dainty than bulky.

They might be able to be submitted under "Ornate/Complicated Jewelry", depending on the size of how they turn out. If they're larger, they might need to be submitted under "Large Hair Accessory".

Overlay description: Nobel Ice Egg prize (maybe as a pocket watch, maybe as a watch on the arm, or a necklace or earrings, I'm not overly concerned with what type of accessory it is. A necklace might look the nicest): Reference
Color of the overlay: very pale blue or possibly silver
CI description: The Nobel Ice Egg, maybe animated More pictures
Anything else?: It's a Fabergé Egg bought by the nephew of the founder of the Nobel prize. It's currently on display at the Houston Museum of Natural Science along with many other Fabergé items. Oh my goodness I am so exited about my idea I hope you pick it. I've gone to the museum several times just to see this egg.

Color of the overlay: I was thinking with the patterns on the shoulders/buttons/collar to change them into red and gold which are classic Christmas colors but it everything can also look nice in black and white. CI description: I was thinking of a piece of tinsel with a star in an old box.
Anything else?: Maybe you could make the bottom a bit more wider so it doesn't follow the body so closely.

Overlay description: Crown made of icicles that grows from the hair. Similar to that of the White Witch from Narnia to even Shiva from FFXIV. Because it would be growing out from the hair, I think it would look better to be incorporated into a wig or not. Main wig idea: Reference Other ideas for the wig shape to go with the crown: X - x - X
Color of the overlay: Crown would be ice blue/light blue (ice texture, possibly translucent) and if a wig possibly white/silvers.
CI description: Maybe the crown with a small puddle of water under it. If used with a wig maybe incorporate the icicles jutting out from a curl of hair.
Anything else?: Because I am unsure how the crown would work without being incorporated into a wig I included some wig examples. I'm not 100% set on the wig's style other than it being a white/ice/slver colour to match the crown. So please feel free to help me pick our a hairstyle that would go with the crown. ❤️ Also yes I know exists but I feel there might be a more interesting way to incorporate something with less spikes into a wig or make it look like it's growing from the wig.

Overlay description: Cute little winter capelet.
Color of the overlay: Undecided, would like to keep the fuzzy parts white, maybe make the body either ice blue, red to even a cute brown.
CI description: the ribbon bow from the capelet with the pompoms on the ends.
Anything else?: Make it a length maybe so that the bottoms of skirts still appear slightly maybe?
