I got the wizard one as well - how cool! I like this feature.

I just got the Wizard buff looking at this thread!

- Well, wasn't it supposed to have to do with the monty cards or whatever? Way back when they were trying to fix the interest rates for the vaults, they reset everyone to 1% interest and then you could increase it by collecting your interest every day and also by using the monty cards, to a maximum of 3% interest rate total.

But I guess that all went to shit and now the buff is 23 years long for some reason.

Probably, I wouldn't know, I never got the bonus interest myself because the minute I withdraw from my sP storage it would reset itself back to 1%. And I personally prefer to keep all my sP in my vault for as long as possible and keep adding to it, because having anything over 400k on hand is a bad bad decision for me.

- Yeah, I usually keep my sP in my vault all the time too. But I've been at a 3% interest rate for probably a year or so now. The monty cards were supposed to be just a limited thing (I think a month or a week, something like that), and then I remember there was a glitch with it and I guess it never got fixed.

Oh well, I'm not trying to complain really. Just one of those things that's been forgotten about, especially since I don't even know how to get to the buffs page unless you have an active buff you can click on.

I'm assuming because it counts as a buff that they have plans for it in the future, but for now it's just a dead-weight. So here's to hoping that there will be some bonus around it like maybe every day you collect your interest without touching your account otherwise maybe it goes up by 1%. Because even for several mil sP 3% is nothing.

I didn't see the Wiz event but did notice the ?/Buff and since I'd already done all my quests for the day was able to do an extra for a 50 point token. Guess we'll have to pay more attention. How many other people are posting like crazy trying to get tickets?

Buffs aren't new. We had buffs during this past masquerade.

SZo confused...how did you know you had a buff while you actually had a buff? I got an event that said "Your bonus quest buff has worn out!" but not one to let me know I had one in the first plce!

- If you get a buff, it should show up on the sidebar under where your username and sP on hand and all are, it says "Buffs" and you'll see a question mark icon. Click on it and it tells you how long the buff lasts.

It's on the left side bar, a ? will appear by "Buffs". I'm glad I only want 1 item in the shop but it's 15 tickets. And I'm not usually on enough to post that much. Darn.

Right. This particular buff is new though, and I think it's the first kind of buff that's been made available outside of an event.

Yes we did, but I don't think they were the same kind as these are. They might, however, be included in the Buffs page and in the dashboard too.

Yes, this quest buff is indeed new, but I was referring to how the OP said buffs are new. xD Which as a concept on site, are not.

The buff was quick feet, reducing the time between dancing in masquerade. A buff's a buff, but I'm just glad they're finally adding some new ones since it felt like they were just forgotten about after masquerade.

It pops up as a random event and underneath it says you have a bonus wizard quest. After receiving that message you will have a ? next to the buff section on the left, but otherwise you can't see your buffs if you don't have the ? there. So usually you can only see it there until it expires. They're happening more frequently since they pushed this option so you might get it again.

Edit: I see you've already been answered. This lag is driving me crazy.

- Yeah, the masquerade ones did show up on the buffs page when they were in effect, but this is the first time a new buff has been introduced outside of an event. They'll probably be around again during the next masquerade.

Ah, my bad then. We also got buffs for Morostide, right?

- Hmm, I don't remember. When is masquerade? I think that was the first time that we got the buffs, for the shortened dancing times.

But maybe we'll get another new buff for morostide, like decreased wait time for the pumpkin patch or something.
