SubetaLodge is actively updated by several of us but I have to qualify that by saying that we get most of the information from the battle community. At least, info that is no9t available on the weapon itself. When no one tells us something is incorrect or gives us the info to begin with, then we don't have it.
I have been trying to find someone who is really into battling to join our staff and handle all of that. Someone who knows what to look for, what questions to ask and who to ask them to. Someone who can be polite and play nicely with the rest of us. :D If anyone reading this is interested please let me know.
As for searching for weapons by mod slots, etc. I will leave that for to answer as he is the programmer and would be able to speak to the feasibility of it.
Editing to say that we would be the wrong group to maintain a post like this should be as we need things like this to help round out our info
I had meant more like a post to report changes/stats.
Maintaining an actual forum thread with all weapon stats doesn't make a ton of sense when there is a database that can store and display that info much better that a forum post ever could.
Only reason people don't pretty much just default to subetalodge is that there has historically been a ton of a lot of missing info from custom weapons.

IMO, the most important part of this guide is that it narrows down which weapons are 'the best' for their tier. There are a lot of choices, and this guide has always summed up which ones are the most commonly used. I think that's why this guide has always been invaluable. There's a pretty big learning curve when it comes to battling, but this guide makes it easier for people to get their footing early on. I know I used it. Granted, there is still a ton of useful information over in the Set Advice subforum, but I hope we can resurrect or revamp this guide someday.
A gentle reminder to always keep backups of your guides just in case things like this happen and valuable information that you spent a lot of time on isn't lost :P
I agree with , most people come here because they need to figure out what to use, especially when they are newer to battling and maybe don't know how to narrow down weapons yet. The search functions on SL are awesome for finding new weapon options when you are more familiar with weapons and battling and all that jazz! Of course the guide could probably use a refresh in general, because it's 5 years old now. It'd be nice to get a team effort going maybe? I'd be down to help in a low-pressure type of a way if a few other people are.
I am guessing staff will be able to restore this post though, I don't see why not since they did it to others. Probably just not a priority?
I'll have to remember to reach out if/when I find something wrong or missing on SL. I know I have once or twice and just was a dummy and didn't reach out and should have!! I don't know nearly as much as some do but could find the answers and get the blanks filled in if I see them at least. Team effort!!
Done.
This'll take a little longer (the way this info is currently stored for weapons that can do a range of damage, like 11-14 icons, makes it hard to search for a value inside that range, like 13.) I'll see if I can get to this over the weekend.
Also tagging to keep her in the loop.
Thanks for the mod slot search addition, cool!
Is there anyway you can add in searching second attacks / weapon notes?
So for instance I had a T6 pet that needed an infinite use water blocker. I used SL to try and find one and got these results So unfortunately none of those block a ton of water which I really needed.
But luckily a battler clued me into the frozen ocean curl
The second attack had exactly what I was looking for and activates enough to be perfect! But I couldn't find it on SL.
So anyways is there any possible way to add like a checkbox when we search that says "include second attack in search" or something? Not sure if it's possible with the coding but it'd be awesome!
Dang I figured that would go on the end of a long to do list not be done within hours. Thats amazing.
I'm surprised how many 3-4 mod slot weapons there are. I figured it would be like 60-70, but apparently its 138. I'm going to have to go through this thing again. See if we can find another shinwas quill hiding in there.
[edit] speaking of which, Shinwa's Quill has 3 mod slots not 1.

Folks, help me out!
I'm working on a request to improve the weapons search functions over at SubetaLodge, and I just want to make sure that I'm understanding the stats correctly. I've listed two cases that I want to confirm are correct, and a third case that I'm not sure about.
[ol]
or does it mean that the weapon can do 2, 3, or 4 damage but the percentages are "secret"? (I think it's the former, but I've never been sure.)
The closest I can make sense of that is: 1/4 chance of 2 damage 1/4 chance of 3 damage 1/2 chance of 4 damage, but as far as I know, it could just be a crazy way of saying 2-4. Can someone confirm which it is?
Thanks in advance for your help!
Thats my understanding of it.

It’s easy to test too, if you do a series of battles and see the percentages of each outcome. That’s how I came to understand it.

[edit]Update (October 21):[/edit] Over the weekend, I changed the way that weapons statistics were stored internally to a format which is more easily searchable.
If you go to the Weapons List now, you'll be able to search for weapons that deal a minimum number of icons in a chosen area. You can also combine this with the "attack icon type" and/or "defensive icon type" fields.
For example, if you put "water" in the "attack icon type" dropdown, and then select "Can deal at least 16 icons of Fire Attack", you get a last of two weapons that deal 16 units of fire attack and also have a water attack.
Let me know if you find any glitches or have constructive feedback on this new feature.
Good news, bad news, Velociraptor. The good news is that the new way that we're storing weapons data internally allows us to store data on secondary attacks without having to use the notes to describe them. The bad news is that it'll take us a while to go through all the weapons and move this data out of the comments field. If you'll be patient with us, we'll try to get this done soon.
That's great news! And of course I'm patient, thanks so much for making this database for us and improving it! <3 Also the addition of the "Can deal at least" search function is awesome! I'm playing around with it a little now, can't wait to use it more. Thanks for everything! :)
[edit] Hi guys, we were discussing these two Battle Shop weapons in the Battle Chat and pointed out some corrections that need to be made in your database!
Use is Once Per Battle Physical Damage 15 or 17 or 20 or 23 or 23 or 30 or 50 or 70 Light Damage 15 or 17 or 17 or 20 or 20 or 23 or 30 or 50 or 70 Boosts Strength 250 Has 2 Mod Slots
Use is Once Per Battle Heals 25-50% HP Has 2 Mod Slots (Damage is correct)
Also, would pinging you guys on this thread be the best place to post corrections? Or a new thread? Or are you guys subbed here are no need to ping? (If I'm not the last post lmao) Thanks! <3
Thanks for the information Definitely ping us, please
Do any of these have a "chance" to freeze?
Malevolent Grimfruit Stinging Gauntlet Divine Denizhen Scroll Apollonias Blessing (Blessing)
I ask, because I just got a freeze using those and none of the weps have any freeze mods on them.
I am thinking Stinging Gauntlet, cuz it has Ice damage, but havent really used low tier weps, so not sure.
The Gauntlet at least does, I know I recognized it... see here :)
So my deduction was correct. lol
Thankies for clarifying. :)
No probs! I was just reading that article about that weapon like last week as I was looking at lower tier weapons so it was ringing a bell :D
[edit] A small one but I am vowing to be better about reporting stuff so can you guys add "Low" to freezing on please? Thanks!
Oh and while I'm here:
Uses 17 Alchemy Points Once Per Battle
Damage Physical damage 7 Earth damage 7-8
Defense Dark defense 10
Healing -200 HP
Freezing High
