My dad and step-mom have separate bank accounts and have been married for nearly 20 years. It works out for them because he never knows what she's spending her money on. 😏 Granted he'll find stuff hidden in her closet and he'll be like wait when did we get this???

LOL. Actually me and my hubby have joint accounts, but I'm the bookkeeper. So, it's pretty fair, he buys what he wants, I buy what I want. We seem to be okay so far. 32 years together, 24 years married. :)

That's actually reeeally impressive. My parent's divorced right after I was born (lots of custody issues with me too yay) and remarried by the time I was 5. My mom divorced my stepdad 5ish years ago I think, but he's still my dad and an active part of my life seeing as I don't remember a time without him. I've never been married/engaged (I'm only 24 so pfft I have time, right.)

Oh also I hit my mini-goal of 500 quest points!! -confetti- I promptly bought the remaining 5 beanbags I needed from the shop. I think I'll keep earning up to 1,000 before I go crazy spending. I should go through and add up how much all those books are going to cost me.

I'm sorry to hear your parents got a divorce but glad you had a great stepdad who has been there for you. You got plenty of time to find the right one for you. Actually, I met my hubby around your age... 22 going on 23 and we were together for 8 years before we got married.

, yeah, I watched it in preparation for the costume, but I didn't think about how I'd regret that after soundtrack playing all day (plus they had the movie playing separately, which led to a really annoying couple of minutes when "Sandra Dee" was playing on both the soundtrack and the movie but just a few seconds off)

That gives me a bit of hope. ❤ I don't do much dating, I feel like I'm kind of holding out for someone.

Aaaalso, ! I hit my goal of 14.5k wears last night! 14,571 / 15,000 I may hit 15k before this sprint is over, but I'm not going to hold myself to that goal. 😊
