Liteloader has a map for 1.7.10, doesn&;t require forge, very easy installation process. Just download, press run and then you&;re free to play the game.
I could not find a single way to do use Liteloader with Magic Launcher, which I need for Optifine. X_X

Liteloader is a separate thing, you don't need to do anything about it in any launcher.

Yea, I know that. But when I use the Liteloader version with Magic Launcher, I get a bunch of errors (like missing library data, etc.) and it won't load.
I had done some research on using both, and followed them, but just kept getting errors.
@ fyn Have you tried just having liteloader make you a new profile in the default launcher and using that?

You could always try MultiMC It's like Magic Launcher but you can create a bunch of different instances each with their own mod settings and whatnot. It also easily installs forge and lite loader with the click of a button so no having to understand things.

The issue wasn't getting MagicLauncher to work.
Liteloader apparently was not making the correct copies of all of the minecraft files in the lightloader world.
I'm not really sure what the issue is... when you install Liteloader it should be just a quick, easy install and it creates a new profile in your default launcher. Then you can easily install mods in Liteloader such as Zan's minimap.
I'm well aware of how it works. It doesn't solve that it doesn't work for me. :P
Well, I'm not sure what to tell you since I've not heard of anyone else having that problem. Hopefully you can get it working or I guess you'll have to get used to not having a minimap. :p
