Hey guys! Hope you're all having a fantastic Masquerade this year. :)

I made a new little survey if you guys don't mind taking a look at it regarding the SubetaCraft server. Rat and I have noticed that usage has been down for a while now and we wanted to get everyone's feelings on it, and if they had any suggestions.

Its hard to tell what is causing the low usage because so many of us are at an age where work/school takes a priority over social gaming, while other times it could be because of just not feeling like it right now.

Whatever the reason, we want to hear from you guys and hear your suggestions! I will leave the survey open until April 15th to give everyone adequate time to respond. Thank you guys so much! Now get back out there and start dancing!

- I tried to connect but I get "Failed to connect to server, Outdated server! I'm still on {0}" Is that an error on my side or yours?

The server is in 1.8

- I guess I'm too new to minecraft to know what that means

You can choose which version of minecraft to play in your launcher, I found this, I hope it helps you undestand and do it :)

Apologies for being absent. It's been a long time since I last felt like playing Minecraft, especially in multiplayer. I do miss the people, but life's been busy - I'm currently attending art college, so there's that. Also even if I wanted to play then the internet in my college home is too slow for multiplayer anything. When I'm at home I generally use that time to get some digital art done. Who knows, maybe I'll come around in the summer. And honestly, I don't think I have much to do. I don't think anything I make can top my Baba Yaga witch hut. :P

I hope the server isn't closing down or anything and that the activity will rise soon. I'd love to drop by some day.

Well i take a look on the link, i leave my opinion too. a wild sheep appears haha sorry i have to say that X'D I feel strange this time to be the only alone online... (wtf i feel like i dont have life and i work/study too, but i have a light free time for me). But what ever... i just take it too... Anyway i hope see someone, or im just a ghost at the server hahahahaha! Edit: ¿crafting skill level is a new feature? Lmao i got a epic surprise watching this:

First off, and I would like to thank everyone who answered the survery for your honest feedback.

As I'm sure you've all noticed activity on the server has been steadily decreasing for some time now. Most people are busy with work, school and other real life concerns. and I have been as well and we just haven't been able to dedicate much time to running things. :(

We love being a part of Subetacraft. It's an amazing community of awesome people. Everyone has made friends along the way and had a ton of fun playing Minecraft together. Subetacraft has been around in various forms for four years. A lot of things have changed in that time.

The time has come to make another change: as of June 1st we will be nuking removing the Omen Islands world and starting out in a brand new one that will not be Subeta-themed. We will also be updating to 1.9.

• Admin builds are not limited to Subeta-related places
  
• The Omen Islands world will be permanently removed. Your items, currency and MCMMO skills will not be transferred to the new world. You'll be a Born-Again Minecraftian! 🌈
  
• The Omen Islands world will be zipped and uploaded to Mega so you can download your own copy. [sup]*[/sup]
  
• Old Flat and Superflat will remain
  
• There will be few, if any, official comps. If you want to host a contest, go ahead! You can always ping the funmine group to alert people. Please let or I know first. A quick, “Hey I'm doing this contest from this date to this date,” is fine!

• and I will still be admins. If you have a concern, complaint or compliment please direct them to us!
  
• Same IP address
  
• Same community you know and love
  
• Same plugins (though we will be open to suggestions for more)

We hope everyone's okay with this decision! We've had quite a few non-Subeta players join and having a more diverse community means the Subeta stuff's been a little stifling. This change doesn't mean we can't have Subeta-related things in the world. If you want to build something Subeta-related that's perfectly fine! We just won't be limited to Subeta-only things. We'll also still be doing some community builds like a city, mall, etc. if people want them. You're free to build your own though and since we'll still have currency you can set up a shop anywhere you like. :)

We're not planning on having a spawn city per se, at least not an admin-built one. We'll likely just have a small starting house to spawn in with a bed so people don't die when they first spawn. If people want to build around the spawn house that would be fine but we're not going to go all-out like with the Omen Islands spawn.

[sup]*[/sup] Please note that the world is quite large and spawn has a lot going on. It may be extremely laggy on some computers. Also, you will not have homes set in singleplayer. You will have until June 1st to log on to the server and get the coordinates for your homes. When you open the world in singleplayer you can enable commands by opening the world to LAN and teleporting yourself using /tp [playername] x y z.

I haven't played in a long time, but thank you for being so dedicated to the server <3 I miss being a part of it, and I hope you guys continue to be amazing and have tons of fun.

Oh :O better... but go to be fun try to survirve with the new system of version 1.9 xD Yeah im just agree... a good change... anyway i run already the version and i survirve to it. Yey a fresh start(really i got bored this last month xD and my internet fails a lot). Omg...wait..wait patience wait... reminds to herself :D

Has it really been four years since this started? Man, where does the time go. I remember being there when it first happened, making the sky city, getting griefed and having things destroyed so much we had to put up a whitelist, all that. I wish I had more time to play now and back then, I really enjoyed playing with everyone.

Lol i totally forgot the server will change at 1st june xD that explain why i cant connect... Oops xD clueless of me!

Guys i have to ask... ¿someone has problems to run the new version of minecraft(1.10)?. I got a crash of java, about the program stop working... And says something a ticks of 22000(out of joke i dont know what is that). Im seeking for guides but... im afraid of my laptop cant run it... If know what i can do...please just ping me here or just send me a pm... Thanks.
