Well the cookie is for the bears or whatever. Like I think you have to show up either with or without the cookie to unlock the battle challenger there?

If you get the cookie, you can use it to get past the Slush (bear) as long as you don't get lost. It gives you the option to "Keep Moving" rather than having it lunge at you. And the cookie can be used a few times in one go. Apparently there are many Slush, all guarding different treasures. And yeah I think if the slush attacks you (because you have no cookie) you get a battle challenge.

Yeah I want the Mama Slush challenger but LOL NOPE. I always get the cookie before I see them. Now that's a tease. A month of playing it just for the challenger and never getting it. Sigh.

I just get the Ice King, but I swear he challenges me 6 times a day. If I went to the bathroom, he would be in there yelling "I challenge you!" Pffft. Whatever, Ice King.
