Well.. lightsource is a little tricky on backdrops, because the light should be coming from everywhere in your example. xD Either its from everywhere, or the light source is much smaller and the areas behind would have to be shaded much darker. But.. basically yes, simple and flat is good. x)

Holy crap what happened to your ha? It wasn't that gross a half hour ago! XD Uuh.. well, i would suggest to take off the lighting points and add more random shades to the stones. Also bigger shades on the place she is standing on that includes some more stones instead of shading each seperated and accurate =3
