think you might be able to do this with smaller changes, if you like another try..? Outline along the water (between water and stone, wouldn't change the image too much) and some layers of shading on the stones where the ha is standing.

And it's funny, because I was denied at first for it looking too "spherical" or "bulbous", as I put it... And when I edited it and made the shading right, I got denied for it looking too flat? Subeta y 4 u torment me?!

They should make a forum for STAFF critique. People hired to give ACTUALLY USEFUL critique. Instead of people trying to be helpful but in the end not really being any help at all :C Its a freaking massive waste of everyone's time. And yeah maybe its to expensive to pay staff for that but seriously how much profit are they making off the CW idea anyway? At least enough to hire a handful of educated staffers who know how to offer professional critique that we can later reference in defense of all our hard work ;.;

Sorry to hear about the idiocy of the background being rejected. I don't think it looks like it has pillow shading. Maybe a few elements can appear it, but not the whole thing on purpose. THey're being so anal it's pathetic. And I don't understand how an element like fire doesn't need an outline, but water does? That makes no sense at all... so the item image suddenly needs an outline for the water when the actual wear doesn't? MAKES NO SENSE. D|

I think the artist was just so jealous of your mad skillz they denied it :) Because I think the backgrounds were just as good as subetan backgrounds and even better than some of the official artists. I'd wait a year for these things if I had too.
