Sounds like Flash to me. Make sure that you don't have any older versions of flash installed on your computer still. In fact, I want you to uninstall flash and then remove all traces of other versions of flash, then, I want you to reinstall. See if that helps.

The game isn't running on Flash, but rather on Javascript. It sounds more like a browser based problem to me here.

If you guys are still having issues with this try temporarily disabling your firewalls (if you have one) and see if that makes a difference.

Oops, sorry for making a new thread. I did have a quick scan but couldn't see this one. Is there a search for the forums so I don't dupe threads in future? Anyhoo, I have the same problem. Windows XP. Newest firefox and flash. Only have look and stop as a semi firewall. Clicking on timed or endless doesn't work yet clicking the ? does bring up the instructions. Thanks for any help. :)

Do you have any extensions? You can try disabling those to see if that helps. You may have to restart your browser.

Reading through this thread it looks like that doesn't help either and that it's a firefox problem. Ah well, I don't really want to switch browser or disable my stuffs so I guess matals jewels is not the game for me at the moment. Thank you for you advice anyway. Stay cool. :)

I do not have any firewalls and no other addons besides personas, adblock plus and downloadhelper. I honestly have given up on even trying the game anymore. Perhaps w/ the wardrobe now working in FF 15 it may again. I will try later (mobilePsy)

- I had actually tried a few days ago in the vain hope Matlal would let me touch his glorious jewels in FF, but alas, no. He is not so easy as all that. I gave him a nudge just now, and he stands firm, my FF fingering will not be tolerated.

And the game doesn't work for me in Chrome or Safari either. I don't know if that helps, but it's not just a FF problem.
