I would love to join, so long as it's okay that I'm asexual (and aromantic)? I haven't had too many issues in LGBT+ groups in the past, but, well. I'm from Tumblr and the Tumblr anti-ace crowd has me a bit burned <:B

Oh god! you've had it worse than me, then, and dang I'm sorry. I had some pretty heated arguments about calling people who aren't straight-as-in-heterosexual straight, and while I could usually convince them that I am not a straight person by dint of not being a straight person by any possible definition, quite a few people run into a brick wall when it comes to heteroromantic asexual people.

I do understand why some LGBT* people might not want het and arom aces in their spaces, because the experiences we have aren't going to be theirs, and sometimes we need to respect that - but dang. I'm not going to get this thread off topic by going into it <:v

I feel like we could probably swap all kinds of stories. >.< But you're right, our experiences are different - and I'm okay with LGBT* communities asking us to be separate as long as it's polite. >.< Usually if they don't want a het ace around as one of them, I tag along as a supporter. :P

I'm just waiting around for the cults to be updated now! They are very difficult to use/figure out right now (at least for me) But we do have a chat board set up! It got slow after the holidays/when work picked up for me, but I'm sure if you stopped buy and pinged the group and said hello people would be fine to talk!
