Zach is my favorite too, but I LOVE the hilarious faces that Aaron makes. I don't think oddly of you for saying that. I also do not have much stock in that medium woman. Shes too good to be true most of the time lol

Ah, so you have finally decided to rejoin us, have you? Falling on your blade in grief seemed like too much trouble, I take it?

YES! Aaron is just awesome, they all are. I've just never met a medium that has been able to convince me. One is either too good to be true or using too little description. XD

I would NEVER play with a Ouija board. That's too scary. T.T Actually, I have once at my friends house but nothing happened.

I have several ghost stories of my own. I usually don't like talking about them unless its to someone who either believes in ghosts or the possibility of them.

I think my old house might have had some sort of spirits or something in there. My first supposed encounter with the paranormal is one I don't remember. When I was about 3, I was in my crib alone when suddenly I started crying and screaming. I told my parents I saw I strange man but no one was there. My dad believes it was my grandfather visiting me. My parents are immigrants and my grandfather lived back in Europe. He always wanted to meet me and teach me about art, philosophy and history but died with a picture of me in his hand.

Little things happened around my house. The usual when one suspects their house is haunted like feeling a very low, uncomfortable, anxiety inducing sensation around certain areas of the house. I also woke up 2 or 3 times from someone screaming when no one screamed. The toy I would sleep with mysteriously ended up under my bed -ok, that ones understandable- but it would also end up in my closet, my parents closet or completely lost and un-found. My parents never touched my toys at all and I doubt I slept walked. I also wonder if its possible any "negative spirits" or anything can affect your dreams. I used to have so many nightmares, most of which involved me being alone in the dark while in my room and feeling this negative anxiety feeling that felt like it came from an external source. One of my freakiest dreams was when suddenly my mom busted into my room with murderous rage and ran up to my bed to go stab me. Just as she held the knife above my head I screamed (both irl and my dream) and then, things froze and evaporated. I woke up and right above me I saw the shadow of the knife where my mom had held it. It started twirling above my head before disappearing completely.

The strangest encounter was when I woke up this one morning and saw the bust up of a light blue ghost lady on the wall. She was sitting there like a portrait or something and blinking slowly. She was poised and very pretty. Its hard to tell because she was made of blue light but if she had more colour to her it looked like she would be a brunette wearing a white dress. I got so scared I turned around and hid under the cover until I fell asleep again. Since that encounter, I considered the possibility of her being an angel. One of my friends in middle school suggested maybe she was an evil deceitful demon but I don't think so, I didn't feel any "negative energy" from her. Some more paranormal things happened after I woke up again but I'd rather not get into that. My brother also got cancer around this time and almost lost his life, coincidentally or not.

I have some more ghost stories, but I've already typed a lot. I don't want to bore people by writing too much, aha.

If anyone else has some ghost stories or theories, feel free to ping or message me! I love hearing about other peoples experiences.

I've had thoughts of using a Ouija board in the past, but never had the guts to actually do it, lol. And this point my husband would probably have a conniption if I did and I don't feel like opening doors to I don't know what! But you at least got lucky with nothing else really happening.

Wow, that's a lot. It's kind of cool that your grandfather made a way to visit you though. We always thought it was interesting that my grandmother visited my neice since she died before she was bored. I have never actually seen anything but I DO believe. I have just heard things.

I have no recall of my grandpa visiting me, its completely by my dad's suspicion. If he did though, that's pretty cool. And that's sweet how your grandma visited your niece.

Ah, that's okay. Seeing paranormal things is overrated anyways, and kind of freaky. Actually I think hearing things might be freakier.

This one time I woke up to this dark feeling over me, then I heard a a voice that sounded really crackly, aggressive and inhuman. I could tell it was a woman's voice though and she said a whole bunch of gibberish things and then the freakiest part was she then said my name. I have no idea how it knew my name so that was really scary. I think it was trying to assault me in a non-physically(if that makes sense) and it worked. I felt like shit. She seems to be gone now. My new house had a lot of haunted activity when we first moved in and everyone in the family felt it. My brother even claimed to see a ghost twice in this house. They seem to be gone now though (thankfully)

As great a story paranormal encounters make, they're not too pleasant to experience.

Pretty much all the activity stopped after my husnad starting hanging his crosses and praying and what-not. He's very Catholic, which I am thankful for.

- I would never in a million years mess with a Ouija board. Never. That thing is dangerous. I keep sage in my house at all times and occasionally burn it as well as tobacco to keep the house clean and only welcoming good. I strive to maintain a positive balance, both inside and out of myself, so I'm fortunate, there.

I've never heard of anyone using tobacco to ward off evil,, could you elaborate?

- Tobacco isn't really so much for cleansing as it's an offering to the gods, some specific ones like it as a calming sort of thing. I like to burn it and watch the smoke waft up, but I think the sage smells a bajillion times better :D

Only one thing has happened to me. My mom and I were sitting in the doctors office, a quiet one to be exact. While waiting for the doctor to arrive we hear a very loud 'oough' between us. It was really weird!

Many things have happened to my mom though. When she was a small girl she had a box of Halloween costumes up in her closet, and there was an ugly mask in there that she did not like. One night she heard rustling in her closet, then the closet door cracked open. She peeked in the closet to find that creepy mask on the floor, and the box on the shelf wide open. EEEK. o.o

I have so many ghost stories and I get really excited when I get to tell them!!

My friend always brings out his Ouija board every year when he throws his annual Halloween party. One year, we were messing around with it and we were talking to "Fred", a supposedly eight year old boy who died in a fire. When we asked him how he died, it spelled out "fire", but when it was done spelling, all of our candles blew out and we all started freaking out and we ended the session right then because that was too much for us. haha

Another, completely unrelated incident, is a little bit more interesting. My great grandma passed away a few years ago around the holidays. It was a family tradition to always go to her house on Christmas Eve to have a family meal and open gifts and such, so that year was the first Christmas without her. Every year, she would give my mom a card with a ten dollar bill in it for Christmas, just like she had since my mom was little. On Christmas morning, my mom went outside to put out this little holiday flag she has that says "Merry Christmas" and underneath the flag pole was a ten dollar bill. She came inside and cried for like an hour because it was way more than a coincidence that the first year without my great grandma there would be ten dollars randomly in our front yard right next to the door.

Another time, I was on a trip with my marching band in eighth grade. We were staying at this hotel somewhere (it might have been Pismo, but I really don't remember) and literally right next door was a cemetery. My friend and I were walking back to our hotel room because we had been hanging out in our other friend's room. We stopped at our door but didn't go in because there was someone standing straight at the end of the hall. We thought it was another kid from our band (who I will call Dave for privacy's sake), so we called out to him and we were like, "hey Dave, what are you doing out here so late?" Dave walks up the stairs from behind us with an armful of towels and was like, "I was just getting extra towels..." So me and my friend look back at the end of the hall and the kid is still standing there, not moving. Then all of a sudden he just DISAPPEARS. So we both freak out and are like, "Dave we thought that was you at the end of the hall! Did you see that?!" And he's just like, "I didn't see anyone down there..." So my friend and I just start freaking out, go into our room, huddle up on the same bed, and we don't go to sleep for like hours because we're wimps.
