Hahah he's not that big, he's only about 1 a half years old now :3 well considering when they're babies they're so tiny haha
Yeah, same here, you can ask to hold a tame beardie at a reptile store, too! Maybe give it a go :O? or let them hold it & you can pat one :P It's really not as scary as they look hahah.
To be honest, I've never thought of doing that xD Are they an expensive animal to maintain? If I could get over my fear, I would like on working to get on for my fiance What do they eat? o-o
haha you should, :3 they're pretty tame, calm animals, usually will just sit on your hand or shoulder and chill out, haha.
Nope! Well, the initial set-up is a bit costly, for a good tank (although we used our old turtle tank & made our own lid for it) and the heating lamp/uv light, but afterwards it gets cheaper haha. His diet consists of crickets & SHOULD be vegetables, we're having trouble getting him on veggies right now :P Main food source should be veggies/salad as they get older, right now we have him on like 4-5 crickets a day. A tub of crickets is like $5 and lasts a few days, so it's pretty good.
Thanks--that tc has been my baby for a long time and will continue you be for a longer time.
I would totally creep on your pets but I can't :(
Thanks for the pictures! Man, shorts...I miss shorts...I miss seeing the ground...So much snow here and we are going to get more soon :( Looks like a 75 gal tank? 100 gal tank? Something like that. Very nice set up! I had a roommate for a couple of years that had a uromastic (idk how to spell it) and it took some care. You guys must spend a lot of time and love on your pets. That's great to see :D I just recently bought a tank on craigslist that came with some pihronas (idk how to spell that either) and the poor things were so neglected. We surrendered them to a local pet store and now they are being sold for $60 each! They are in much better health too. Pets take a lot of love and care.

How come they can't have both? :O Are they only supposed to have crickets when they are little? Do the crickets have to be live?
Snow?! Where do you live? We didn't get any good snow days where I live which is NC :c But it's getting hot so I don't think it's gonna snow again so I'll just have to wait till next year
Hhaha oh man, you get sick of summer pretty quick here, hahaha :P I can't wait to see snow, I have some melted snow in a jar that my mums ex brought over from Wisconsin, that's as close as i'll get hahah :P
Yeah something around there xD Thanks! Yeah, it's a lot of hard work with so many, but once they're settled it's gotten easier. Our birdies just have free reign of our bedroom & we take the lizard out for baths and feeding time, and the turtles down to the lawn for some sunshine on nice days, :) Oh wow, that's awesome xD good to know they're better :3
They can/should have both! Just mainly greens and then crickets for vitamins and stuff. When they're little they usually start with mealworms. Yeah the crickets are live, lizards don't usually go for things that don't move, hence being hard on getting him to eat his greens! The reptile specialist we bought ours from also had him on mice once a week, as like a treat X___X but it's not necessary, & I couldn't handle it, xD
I managed to creep on one of your pets, Lyxn. I like short pet names and bathroom cleaner made me lol on the inside. NC must be nice. The graphic artist that taught that one class I took was from there. I just moved to Minnesota from South Dakota. I have seen the ground once since I moved here in December. And, we just got 18 inches of snow in like a week and a half and a bunch of rain. We just got two inches a few days ago and are going to get at least another inch tomorrow.
How does the bird thing work? I mean...how do I say this...do you ever wake up to guano facial?

No,no,no I couldn't feed them mice xD I'd sissy out ;o;
Live crickets eh? I ran through that aisle in the store, just thought of one of them jumping on me xD;
EDIT:
I mean it's okay but I'd much rather be back in Miami, it sucks being so far from the ocean :c Where I live it's in the mountains and it's rather quiet, Damn, that much snow huh? When do you think you'll see the ground again? Oh lol, My Lyxn It was originally Celinox that is why it has that name If I had the csc, it would already be changed
haha oh no we keep them in a cage at night, but they roam as they wish during the day/when we're home. :)
No me either, haha xD HAHA yeah I'm the same, we just dump a few in a seperate tank then plop him in & let him go for it :P
It's been fun talking to you, I do believe I have made friends tonight, I hope we can continue this c: Thought it'd be rude if I logged off without saying goodnight
Ooo Miami to the mountains that had to be a major change for ya. Did you move for school?
Goodnight! :D It was good to meet you too. Again, sorry you had a bad experience before. But, here we are--we came out of the woodwork ;)
oh, ok, this one time we had this guest speaker come and talk to use about......we had a lot of them.....I think he was talking about some kind of wildlife and had some animals and what not. But, what really stuck out to me from that speaker was a story he told about his pet bird that he left fly around his house. When they had his in-laws over they didn't know the bird flew around the house out of the cage. The bird had rest on the top of the door and one of the in-laws shut the door and chopped off some of the birds toes :( I feel traumatized. I would be so paranoid if I were you.

Looking forward to talking to you more! Thanks for the chat! Goodnight! :3
Oh wow that's terrible :( We only open the cage when we're home, they're not very flighty birds. The younger one has her wings clipped & doesnt fly at all, the other one usually just sleeps in the cage regardless :P If someone comes over we leave them in the cage, so they don't get spooked & hurt themselves.
that's good :) Hopping sounds better than flying on top of door. It was good to meet you. I'm off to bed. Maybe we all can continue chatting tomorrow or sometime :D Maybe some more people will join and you can continue to meet awesome peeps.

Haha yeah, it's a small room, not much in here to hurt themselves on. Absolutely! Thanks so much for joining :D Goodnight!
[edit]Wow, how lucky. You stumbled on a Raffle Ticket while making this post!

Hello!!! How have you two been? c: Hope you all had a happy St Patty's Day 8D
Am I too late to this party? Can I jump on the bandwagon? I've yet to make friends, and I've been here over a year! :c
