I like a lot of the stuff you have here, it's all quite interesting and unique looking. A couple things I did notice, nothing too major, but just thought that I would mention:

I'm not sure if you're sharpening your outline or something, but your outlines tend to look a little pixelated, particularly this one: Also, in regards to the outlines, it looks like a couple of them have colored outlines instead of black outlines. I don't know if this is because they are WIPs or not, but it is a rule that the outline does have to be black, so thicken it up and make sure it's actually black. When you resize it's a good idea to zoom in and make sure that, even in the resized version, the outline still appears black.

I agree with what in the way that the two wigs they pointed out looks plastic-like. Your newest WIP is a lot better as far as having a more natural look to it, so I'd use that as a reference as to how to adjust your colors for the others.

For the Hair-Covered Candy Stick, I know it was intentional to leave the bangs short, but personally I wouldn't buy it for that very reason. To me it looks like it was a bad haircut experience. I'd do more of a side-swept bang to cover more of the forehead, but again that's just personal preference.

I like your range of colors and I think they all work well with each wig you've started, and I also like the freckles. You did a really nice job on those and I really like the CI for it so far.

Keep up the good work :) I know there's a lot to take in for the CWs but you've already improved leaps and bounds from your first couple WIPs so I'll be curious to see your finished pieces.

HA HA HA HA I DON'T KNOW HOW TO READ RULES. GO ME. I altered the lineart on the green one to have black outlines but kept the colored interior lines to keep the style.

The second one is a new one that I'm playing with. I think the art came out great, but I'm not sure if people will like the hairstyle? It was fun either way.

I think my lines tend to come out very thin because I work on a very large canvas. : I've been working at getting then thicker on recent ones, so hopefully they're a bit better than the bob?

And as stated before, I apparently missed the rule about black outlines, and have since fixed this.

I'm probably going to go through and redo my original two wigs (the candy stick and the bob) and hopefully get them up to the level of my other ones. I'll definitely experiment with different bangs on the candy stick in hopes of making it more appealing. It's not like I'm the only one that would be buying it, so it has to be consumer friendly. C:

Oh yes I like that CI, very cute :) And also, I feel your pain... I'm used to working in very large canvases as well and it's difficult to adjust to a smaller one. I'd suggest working in a 250x500 pixel canvas for CWs because it's a little easier to zoom out and see your progress and makes it a little more difficult to go in and put all the useless details in that fade anyway, you know?

I like how the green wig is coming along and I love the palette change for it. I think it makes it more lively. The black outline looks like it still needs to be thickened, but without the wearable size shown it's difficult to tell. They're being /very/ picky about that in particular. I think the shading looks very well done, however, and like I said I love that CI :)

I'd be interested in seeing what you come up with for your two original wigs. I like the ideas of them, and I'm sure you'll get them whipped right into shape :)

The program I use doesn't even have a sharpen tool, so could someone help explain to me what they mean and how to fix it?

Try setting blur to 30% and running it over them c:

I think the main issue with it looking like noise / oversharpened is that, once you shrink it down, the freckles get so small that they lose any shading, so they're just points of color. I think making the freckles a tiny bit bigger might help. What suggested could work if you do it very carefully, but you don't want to blur them too much.

Here I did a couple of layers of varying opacity. See how it looks softer compared to yours?

That looks fantastic. puq I think I still need to add more big freckles going down the arms, but it looks so much better already!

I like the new one a lot! I do think you should fade out the freckles a bit on the arms as they kind of end abruptly at the wrist. I can help you later if you can't figure out what I mean:)

Don't hit me.. but beside of the arms having more freckles i don't see any differences.. what did they tell you to change? edit: ok, you explained it above - didn't see that. xD

That is the difference. They had told me that the freckles on the arms looked too sharp and came out as noise on the site-size version. It was either make them bigger or take them out, and I like them, so I kept them in. I can try and make a arm-less version for comparison though.

Ah.. ok.. well i have to admit, it looks a little like hair to me now.. =/ Very hairy arms.. I like the shape now and the fact that it looks a little smoother, but i'd like it better if the amount of freckles were reduced a little.. =/

It's a very fine line on those arms. I think I'm going to see what people think of it with just the shoulders. The shoulders look good already. BI

I'll still buy it, no matter what you decide on the arms, but i'd personally prefer the one with shoulders only.. Very cute =3
