I think it's because the eyes are quite close-set and a bit large for the size of the cat's head. The thin nose bridge in particular makes the cat have a "human"-like face; I think moving the eyes a tiny bit apart might help :x

my cats eyes are quite big and it looks right in the bigger version. And its supposed to be a starey cat. Because that's all she does hee. When arichu gets online she'll know what to do. I don't have a clue lol.

I like the pose and position but the colors are a bit off for me. In my personal opinion torties are mixtures of different brown and gold tones with a nice amount of attitude :P lol and the CW looks more grey to me.

Of course it's your cat and your decision! That's just my suggestion, I'm sure you'll have no trouble filling up your slots :) This is what I would have done about the nose, though:

@ luckykitten I knew the colouring was gonna be tough. The cat this is based off, she's got all her colour on her back really but its a wip so more colours can be added. It's annoying how you lose the colouring when its scaled down.

I know its my cat and stuff but I still want everyone to really like it. :) I really wish was here. I'm on my phone now and everything is tiny! It doesn't help much :)

Oh i am sure the coloring on Torties is extremely challenging and i can't even imagine how hard it is to draw one due to the grey tones it looks more like a grey tabby to me though (probably because alot of detail is lost at that scale, i am sure on the larger version you can see all the subtle tones). The art otherwise is absolutely adorable though and i would definitely want one if you got it to look a bit more brown. :)

hey miss! Im here! I can try to get everyone's suggestions and put it into the CW. It is a major WIP of course! It just hard to do the coloring because of the fact that subeta requires the 3-5 shading layer, so making it look realistic and everything with the fur is difficult. I normally draw wigs and clothing...so this is all very new to me

(I hope it's ok I pinged you directly XD;;) A note on your tortie kitty. The subeta art team seem to like crisper definitions on coloring. (Yours is a little "soft" around the edges of each color so they all blend together) And I think a bunch of other people have mentioned.. but a little more brown, a little less grey would help =) I used a sort of chocolate and caramel color mix on mine:

I'll try to remember to let you know what they say if the art team rejects mine. Could be that knowing about whatever mistake I might have made would help yours out =D
