Sebastian noted the starved rat staring up at him. "I bet people think you are disgusting too huh?" He tossed a large piece of Bagel at the rat, and watched it run around the corner. He probably just fed half of a colony, but what did it matter if he was just going to starve to death? They would be just as unlucky as the rats, begging for for food and running from traps the officers laid for him. Homeless weren't looked up on, and usually turned into special centers to live off of someone else's money.

She grabbed a pack of parmesan and then a half gallon of milk. She wasn't much of a milk drinker unless it was chocolate. While she was there she got some crackers for the soup she was going to have the next day.

Portia ran up to the only register open and dropped her items on the conveyor belt.

"Find everything okay?" Said the cashier. "Uh, yeah, thanks."

It was a lifeless visit to the supermarket, especially the workers. They always seem weird. Portia took her time walking back to her house. There wasn't anything to hurry back to other than eat dinner alone... again. She wished she would have moved in sooner to this neighborhood so she would have met some people before all of this happened.

In a small alley Tobi and Prince were hanging out used to the smell of chemicals in the air. Both were waiting to meet someone who had a map of the city, it was the one thing the boys needed to plan their escape of the town. Although most people had already given up Prince and Tobi hadn't and both had the tools to escape. After waiting some time a man finally showed up coming out of the shadows. "Finally we've been waiting forever do you have the map?" Prince asked clearly annoyed by the man's tardiness as Tobi just stared at him curiously "Do you got the goods?" The man asked holding out his greasy dirty hand not like he was any cleaner than Tobi who had never even heard of a bath . "Yeah we got it. The map first.' Prince said cautiously holding Tobi's hand back who was about to deliver what the man wanted. The man merely laughed and handed over the map and shortly afterwards Prince handed over the goods. Quickly the man ran off as Tobi opened up the map "Wait this doesn't look right Prince I think we just got cheated." Tobi said showing Prince the map who was boiling with anger before both boys could complain they began to chase the man down until they caught up with him. The man led them to his group of friends who all had weapons and gave a smug smile as both Tobi and Prince became furious "Just give us the map we don't have to do this we don't have to fight." Tobi cried out not wanting any violence, he hated the idea of hurting people even hurting animals made him upset, but the request was to no avail soon all of the man's friends started attacking. Effortlessly both Prince and Tobi took out the group of men and when it was just the man they narrowed their eyes and held out their hands "The map, now if you don't mind." Both boys said in unison making it clear that they meant business.

OOC: Your post is fine, trust me, I never do long posts since I'm so forgetful. BIC: Soon, Sebastian found himself sitting on bench in yet another park. He had long past given up on eating, and now the rats were gone. Slightly satisfied with his own deed of good, he looked up toward the sky. He was done with the gloomy clouds and the headaches of life in a fenced in box, everyone eventually needed to get out of there, but in his opinion, they wouldn’t be leaving at all. The government had been calling the gifts people had been getting a virus, catastrophe, and even a ‘curse.’ He thought otherwise, Sebastian loved what he could do, even if he was considered a monster, even if he was living alone on the streets. At least he knew that one day they would come to use, he just wasn’t sure of the day or time. -Jeile

When Tobi and Prince had finished their business with the man both went to the park where Sebastian was at. Passing him by the boys sat under a tree and began to discuss their plans. "Alright so most of the police are by the exits of the town and were somewhere in the middle I think." Prince began to say then looked to Tobi who was deep in thought about traveling and finally seeing the world. It had always been a dream for Tobi to go out and see the world and for a short time that dream was reality, Tobi wasn't from the two states in fact he was from an Island which explained his tan skin. He met Prince while traveling to California after he had snuck onto a boat and both boys quickly found out they both had a lot in common one of them being that they both didn't have any family to speak of. When they reached the next town the chemical accident happened and soon both boys found out they had the same abilities. Now they were stuck on trying to escape and now they had a map to tell them how far away their goal was.

"No we can't be in the middle if anything were more on the outer part of the city see there's the landmark we passed when we first entered the town." Tobi told Prince snapping back into reality, Prince who listened to Tobi rubbed his chin then stared intently at the map "Are you sure? Because look there's 1st street right here and were about two blocks away from it." Prince replied looking up at Tobi who decided to just go ask someone. Walking up to Sebastian Tobi gave him a warm friendly smile that was naturally pure and innocent with not even the slightest contempt and asked, "Excuse me sorry to bother you but me and my friend are planning to escape the city and were wondering which part of it were in do you mind telling us where we are?" Prince with a look of disbelief soon turned angry and punched Tobi on the back of the head snapping at him "Hello! Earth to Tobi don't tell strangers our business you don't even know him!" "But, he seems nice enough just read the energy he gives off." Tobi replied always finding the good in people.

He thought it was obvious by the falling apart buildings and stench of animal. "If you plan on exiting this city, you'll need to go south toward Cheyenne." Currently they were in Rawlins, which was even smaller than Cheyenne, there would be a lot more officers there too. "From there you'll need to enter Colorado to get to the fence-gate at Trinidad, and hop the fence. Then, congrats, you both are free men." A rat crawled onto his lap, and he shuddered.

Sorel made his way back to the park. It was a popular location among the homeless. Meager shelter provided by trees was better than no shelter at all. He clung to the loaf of bread he’d managed to steal. He was a thief and his bruises would tell you he was a second rate one. Pickpocketing and stealing was hardly admirable from someone at his age, but there wasn’t a chance in hell he was getting a job in this town and he hadn’t the heart to leave it yet. Maybe things would have been slightly easier if he hadn’t burned his house down. Would have been easier if hadn’t come running out of the building on fire himself. It definitely would have been easier if he hadn’t come out completely unharmed. At that point you earned a level of notoriety for being gifted. Gifted. What a joke. How was being able to burn down your house with ease a gift? The bread was whole wheat, so at least there was some nutritional value in it. He considered little things like that a gift at this point. Rounding a corner brought the park into view and Sorel observed the bit of liveliness in the lifeless town. He walked in a wide circle to avoid getting too close and sat down against the trunk of a tree. The location of Tobias and Prince’s earlier strategy meeting. He picked at the loaf eating small bits as his eyes scrutinized the trio trying to identify anything of discernible value.

Tobi thanked Sebastian then turned to Prince and smiled "See it seems easy enough." Tobi said hopefully with a pure and simple smile that made Prince scowl "Easy? Tobi have you even considered the possibility that the police might obtain powers as well I'm sure it's not just us and if they did who knows how powerful they are." Prince retorted crossing his arms then looked to Sebastian noticing the way he was looking down but ignored it. Tobi gave a small smile after Prince had spoken and grabbed the map placing it in his small dark green back pack "Well who cares if they have gifts or powers or whatever they might throw at us, because we have powers too. I'm not ready to give up, and I will never give up on anything. I made a promise to myself that I'd get out of here and I will no matter what life will throw at me." Tobi replied giving a confident smile filled with adventure making Prince sigh out of annoyance "All right then we should go train at the farm house then, if were going to escape we need to practice controlling our energy." Prince said then got out his dark purple back pack searching it to see how much of food rations remained "Alright the food rations look good but were running low on water we need to get some more." Prince said to Tobi and without a moments delay the boys were off, but when Tobi looked back at Sebastian he couldn't help but feel compassion for him and out of a kind heart he asked him, "Um sir I know it isn't my business but if you want you can come with me and Prince to the farmhouse it was abandoned by it's owners so it's empty and it has plenty of room for you too here's the address if you decide you want to stop by." Then handing him a piece of paper with the address he was off with Prince to get some supplies and then to train.

He looked up at the rat, which somehow managed to climb onto his head, and pat it behind the ears. "Should I go with them? They seem a little strange, but I guess I would too." Sebastian stood for a second, making his way over to the nearby swing-set.

She is tall and muscular, Ok that parts normal.. she has smooth tan skin, that's normal too.. Her hair is dark brown with red streaks and short cut, layered so it flairs out, seems normal enough right? Well, then you get the weird part, she has two long black curled horns coming from her temples.. they curl out from her head and then back down and behind her ears like ram horns with points ending at her jawline. She walks on the her toes instead of flat footed and has long black claws on her finger tips instead of nails.. Gift: She has gained the ability to walk on any surface at just about any angle, she has "Super Strength" She can lift about 5x her body weight and jump about 10x her height. She can run at extreme speeds for short distances but her energy fade quickly after that.. Standing and fighting she is your worst nightmare, but ranged is not her strong point.

She cna also speak to animals, which helps to Charm them.
