ooc: Enter the trickster!
"Now, now Gafarth! All this yelling is bad for your health!" said the voice. All heads turned to the chandelier. On top was a young woman sitting non-chalantly on the rim. That woman was the Trickster, a powerful sorceress who was as old as the kingdoms. Her medium gray skin and black hair were recognizable anywhere. She wore a silk poet shirt, with a red and black vest, with black pants tucked into black, knee-high leather boots. Her lips had blood red lipstick, and her lips were curled back in a malicious smile. She wore leather, black fingerless gloves, and her hair was tousled. The Trickster disappeared in a cloud of black smoke, only to reappear on the ground in front of the table of royals, more specifically Sheike.
"You see, all this commotion about my bride to be is fine, but the subject of her health is my concern and mine only." The Trickster said seriously. "You are all wrong in your statements. Sheike is not weak. Nor is her not aging a handicap. It was an accident, an accident which I am grateful for. A simple fall will not kill her, nor will a simple sickness. It takes a lot of skill to kill my bride, especially since you have to get through me first, which is highly unlikely! So I would suggest you shut up and enjoy your party!"
The walls and windows cracked a little from the Trickster's anger. The Trickster is very protective over Sheike.
"Oh and by the way. Cyrus, if you wish to destroy my bride, not only will you start war, but you will also occur my wrath. I am stayin at this party to make sure you don't try anything." Trickster said.
Cyrus and Elys looked at their oldest daughter, in horror that Sheike had an engagement with a woman, the Trickster no less. The crowd of people shivered in fright of the Trickster.
"Elyon!" Sheike hissed quietly. She really did not need her secret engagement being blurted out to everyone.
"Miss Trickster we are trying to carry on with are festivities, why would you interrupt a ball all about your bride. Now please sit down and be quiet, you guys are acting like the four brothers when they were children. Princess Sheike will you please go in the back room of the ballroom and put on your robes. You and the Alis'tara prince have to get ready now to preform the Warriors Wine Ceremony after the Blessing of Magic Cerimony. We can not eat until the first cup of wine is poured during the Warriors Wine Ceremony. I am very tired of all this bickering, this is a party to celebrate the fact that we have Dragon Blessed that are in the same age area, one of the most rarest things. Now will you please sit down Miss Trickster!" King Gafarth yelled angrily trying to calm down the scene.
Queen Elsa leaned over to her husband, King Errol to talk to him queitly. " I know we not really supposed to acknowledge her old life and that we know her, but please Errol. We have to do something this has gotten out of hand." She said to him in a soft tone.

ooc: I have no idea what the Pendron color is, so it is going to be blue for Pendron, okay? I kinda got the idea of having ceremonial armor over the robes to show the warrior thing. It's not a full suit of armor though.
The Trickster calmed down and the cracks went away. Sheike stood up and went to the backroom to put on her robes. Trickster followed her in order to help her. "That was uncalled for Elyon." Sheike said.
The Trickster said nothing. She got out Sheike's robes and helped her put the robes on. The Trickster modified them with magic so that they fit Sheike. Sheike put on the shoulder armor, Trickster modified the armor as well. Sheike slipped on the breastplate. The Trickster worked on Sheike's hair while Sheike put on a belt with a sheath for a ceremonial sword. Sheike looked at herself in the mirror.
Sheike's dark hair was half pulled up, and half left down. The upper part of her hair was held up with two pins that turned into a head piece that sat in the middle of her forehead. Her long bangs were pulled in front of her by a simple metal band that rested on her chest. She look so surreal. Sheike has never been in a dress, let alone a robe.
"Oh, it would appear Sheike has gone to change," Eleanor said. She turned and looked at her brother. "Why don't you go back and change? I'll go greet her and see if she's ready," she said. Tybalt nodded in agreement and turned around heading back towards his family's table. His father, mother, and brother were still there. His father was holding the old family robe. The robe itself was gold in color, with a black prong horned antelope emblem on the back. He took the robe while bis brother Peter and a serving boy helped carry his armor to a closed off room. Piece by piece they help him put the armor on. On the breast plate there was an engraving of a side view of his dragon. It was made out of black opal for the body, with a yellow topaz gem for his eye and for the fleshier part of this wings. His helmet was another homage to his home, with the same horns of the prong horned antelope dyed black coming out of the sides. Tybalt didn't mind dressing up on occasion, but with the armor and cloak it was incredibly hot. It didn't help as he moved out into the crowed hall of people. He sincerely hoped nothing stupid would happen so would be free to take it off soon.
Eleanor had meet Jenavira and Lucius when she was younger, though some time had passed since. However, for whatever reason she could not understand at the time she did not meet the Pendron princess. She was starting to think she now understood why. Holding Alia in one arm Eleanor knocked on the door to Sheike's dressing room. "Hello? Are you ready?"

The door opened to the Alis'tara princesses. The Trickster and Sheike turned around. The Pendron princess was dressed in blue robes that fit her body just right. Her armor was black with intricate designs in silver. Her head piece was silver and had a lapis lazuli in it. Her breastplate showed her family's symbol, it was a silver wolf howling at the moon. Sheike had a ceremonial blade attached to her hip, its blade was made of lapis lazuli. Sheike's eyes had silvery blue makeup swirling around her eyes. She had black lipstick on her lips.
"Ah, Princess Eleanor. I don't believe we have had the chance to meet." Sheike said calmly. "This is my fiancée, The Trickster."
Sheike looked at little Alia. "Hello mi'lady. How do you fare?" Sheike said to the little princess.
It was right to say that Jima was quite frightened by The Trickster. When she had appeared in front of all of them, screaming at them, making the very walls crack and windows break, Jima had been very convinced that she had seen the most powerful sorcerer in the land. Of course she didn't know the familial ties between the King Errol and The Trickster, no one knew but King Errol and Queen Elsa. As Sheike was taken away by her "fiancee" to change into her robes, Jima couldn't help but lean away from both of them. She was scared, scared of The Trickster and even scared of Sheike.
King Errol pinched the bridge of his nose as he heard a familiar voice ring throughout the hall, startling the guests. The Trickster, as she liked to call herself, a blood relative of his from centuries ago, still alive and still causing mischief. He had only met her once before as a boy. He didn't know who she was yet, his father hadn't told him yet, but he remembers the old king being quite upset by her appearance to them. And now here she was, again. Errol looked at his wife, both agitation and sympathy written on his face.
"You know that we are forbidden to do anything to her. We cannot meddle in her affairs, we cannot interfere with her life. Unless she comes to us directly, we do not acknowledge her, we are the crowd, frightened by the appearance of this strange sorceress. And under very few circumstances can we even acknowledge our familial bond with her. I only hope that she abides by the same rules."
King Errol sat back in his chair as he observed the chaos quell itself. The people were still on edge, but at least it was calm. Conversation had even begun again. Errol glanced at his son a moment, knowing that tonight would be the night he would tell his son of their situation with The Trickster. Jenavira, too. With The Trickster's sudden reappearance, he didn't know what she would do. Best let his children know the situation now than have deadly consequences later.
Alia gave a small cry of acknowledgement. Eleanor couldn't help but ignore the princess and stare at the Trickster. Eleanor wasn't quite sure just how one could be engaged to such a being. How did they even meet without anyone knowing? Everyone had heard of the Trickster so it seemed odd no one noticed her. I'd better not ask about it anyway. She doesn't seem too friendly. Eleanor remembered why she came over in the first place and took one step inside the room. "I'm sorry, I should introduce myself." she started. "I am Eleanor, Tybalt's younger twin. I came here to see if you were ready for the ceremony."
Holding the helmet in his arm Tybalt went looking for the Pendron princess. He couldn't imagine it would take her longer than him to get dressed. Come to think of it I haven't seen the other two dragon blessed either. Tybalt walked back over to the table his family sat at. "Peter, would you care to help me find the others?" Tybalt asked. "I'm not your personal servant you know," Peter retorted. Tybalt shifted his feet, looking to the ground. "I'm sorry, I know I'm asking you to do a lot for me but..." Tybalt let his sentence trail off. Then Peter cracked a smile and let out a small laugh. "I only jest! Actually I haven't seen Princess Sheike but I believe that is her sister over there," he said pointing to a black haired young lady. "Perhaps she knows," Peter said.

Ooc: Woops! My bad! I thought that was the princess!
Sheike nodded to the Alis'tara princess before walking out to the hall. The Trickster disappeared and reappeared next to Princess Jima. She wanted the best seat to watch her fiancée. Meanwhile, Sheike stood behind the Alis'tara Dragon Blessed. "I'm sorry I took too long Prince Tybalt. I was caught up in a conversation with your twin." Sheike said emotionlessly.
Meanwhile, King Cyrus nearly blew a gasket. "King Errol. Do tell me how you know that...creature that is engaged to my daughter." Queen Elys asked before her husband blew up.
(( take your time:) ))

‘I would probably care more if I was actually worth a damn…’ Rifter muttered inaudibly. Being mostly ignored for much of his life while his family focus more on his sister, Rifter basically felt gravely secluded to the point he took up bad habits just to get attention by his own family and everyone else…this…gravely failed and he is now addicted to alcohol, some plan that turned out to be. The only people that know he actually exist are his tutors that he tends to skip out on but eventually he began to hang with them more so than ever. The only reason why he failed to attended those important meeting is because he now believes that no one would actually want him there anyway. But it wasn’t until now they actually remembered their own son and are now making a failed attempt to actually make up the lost years they neglected to do with him, like nothing ever happened.
But he quickly tried to mask his grief, like he always due and continue on pretending that he is a no good jolly drunk of a prince like everyone thinks he is. But he was at least glad that his father at least exposes that there is some feeling for him…left. “I’m sure things will work out in the end.” But then he took notice to the Trickster. “Who is she… is she the one who cursed Sheike? Why is she doing here she wasn’t even invited?”
**
“The reason why we normally don’t practice this is because we have better sure of our time.” Lucius remarked flatly. Heh, 30 you say, wow they are still that low? But this shouldn’t be too difficult to get.” But while he prepared for the festivities the so called Trickster person appeared but unlike others he wasn’t distilled in fear, he was more curious than fearful but he didn’t allow his curiosity to get the best to him as he turned back to Jenavira. “So are we doing this or what?”
“I couldn’t agree more, though some of them are not much to my liking but they’ll do. I mean they are indeed the dragon blessed after all like our Lu is… though they have the advantage of flight. Damn the day when I saw that wingless mite when she first hatched, we were the laughingstock of the kingdoms and its took us forever to prove our worth again. Hopefully this should help prove how great our son is; alliances are good for the boy and should its always welcoming for him to at least be someone who at least can attempt to keep up with his magical prowess. But yes, let us have our meeting.” Replied Orphious. Then the King spotted the Trickster and was baffled by the sudden turn of events, Shadow only sat up and arched herself pensively. ‘This I now getting interesting…’
((There, sorry to taking so long to post but now its finally here!))
"Thanks, I guess if I just hang in there, it will get better." Jenavira said as she watched him prepare for the ceremony. She noticed that the Trickster had entered in to the party. She just shook her head and moved on. She had seen the Trickster enough to just get over the fact that she thinks her good old cocky self can get her to take over any conversation. " Yeah we should probably get up there, I just want to get this over with. I want this whole thing to be over so I can do what I want. I read a journal of one of my Dragon Blessed ancestors, and he told me of this amazing place in this castle. The night of the coming of age ball, he would sneak out of his room after the ball to the highest towers roof. He would watch the Borealis of the night sky that show up in this area. It would sometime just be him and his dragon, or the other Dragon Blessed would join him sometimes. It would go on till sunrise sometimes." Jenavira said to him as she started to walk out to the stage.
"Just to give you a heads up about why I am having the meeting.... remember that exhibition my archeology team and me went on at the ruins of one of our old dragon temples? Well...we did find something...and it is important, you and the council need to know what we found." Zariala said to her husband with a concerned voice.
(( that is ok, I'm on vacation for the week so my postings might be on the short side till I get back:) ))

Jima made a sidelong glance at the Trickster as she appeared beside her. Her sister was engaged to that? What had she been thinking?! Obviously she hadn't been thinking. It wasn't even because it was another woman, the fact that she was engaged to The Trickster, that was what she couldn't believe. Jima couldn't tell if she was scared of her sister or furious at her. All of a sudden, her sister wanted this loving relationship with her, and then her big secret shows up! If she wanted such a close relationship with Jima, she might have told Jima about this. Jima stared at her plate, food mostly untouched. She had lost her appetite early that night and it didn't seem she would be getting it back. Going from staring at her plate to looking at the stage, Jima could feel the jealousy boiling in her stomach. She pushed it down and mae another glance at The Trickster.
"So." Jima ventured, bravely. "How is it that you know my sister? When did you two...meet?"
King Errol listened to his wife intently, missing what Queen Elys had asked him. Typical that his wife would only tell him of this now instead of earlier.
"My dear, it is best to tell me now, rather than later." He stood, holding his wife's hand in his. "Best we go somewhere more private." King Errol turned toward his son, Rifter. "Best you come with us, also. There are...other things we need to tell you." Errol spoke, gravely, referring to The Trickster. This was simply not his night
Before talking to the Pendron Princess, the Trickster turned her head towards King Errol. "Whatever you wish to discuss, will be discussed after the ball. Am I understood?"
The Trickster turned her head back to her fiancée's sister. "As for your question, my dear. We when your sister went on that journey to deal with the ice giants. In the mountains. That happens to be where my castle is. Things occured, and eventually, I asked her to marry me."
The Trickster's face softened. "Sheike really does love you, Princess Jima. She tells me all about how you are her favorite but she was never allowed to show it." The Trickster unhooked a necklace with a sword pendant dangling from the chain. On the sword was Jima's name. The Trickster put the necklace around Jima's neck.
"Sheike wants you to have it. She knows it's not much, but that was how she wanted to show her love."
((, you guys still here?)
