Our stray kitty, Alberto, loves sleeping under my quilt.

Haha, my kitty also loves to sleep under the blankets. My favorite thing, though, is when I enter the room he's in. He gets super excited and starts meowing like crazy. Love him so much!

My dogs love to snuggle in bed with me, it's so cute. When i go home for the holidays they have a routine of waking up when my mum leaves for work, then trotting over to my room and forcing their way under the covers, haha. Warmth-stealers :p

One of them, Pippa, also has a game where she likes to stand there, bow down and bark at you until you chase her around, haha. Then she'll hide behind curtains/chairs whatever and bark some more until you "find" her. She loves attention, heh

My cat has a fetish with furry blankets. She always picks them up in her mouth and kneads on them with her paws. I find it adorable. (: Also, happy birthday! ❤

My cat likes sleeping between my legs and tends to nip me sometimes if I move to much during the night. She's also learned to sit like a puppy which is odd

Danny (cat), demands his spot on the bed, barks at my husband to get up, yells at us for food, eats the center of the food dish down so he can see the bottom, even though the dish has plenty of food in it--he demands more be put in. Has a favourite chair. Will reopen bags of pretzels and steal them. Loves dogs.

Rudy (cat), plays fetch with hairties (which she steals), 'digs' at me to get under my blanket with me, 'digs' under my boobs to try to get under them, squeaks, sleeps in windowsills and on the top shelf in the closet, steals food off plates if left unattended, runs sideways, screams for me if she falls asleep and wakes up without me in the room, cries if i leave the apt, steals 'spots'.

I taught my cat how to climb the ladder to my loft bed and he likes to sleep up there when I'm gone at school. He can even get down by himself. If were both curled up on my bed and he gets up to stretch I'll sometimes wiggle my toes around under the blanket because he likes to bite and pounce on them. If we're both outside he likes to follow around behind me and watch what I do; he'll sometimes do that when I'm inside too. He'll sit on his haunches and use both paws to paw at the glass door if he wants to go in or out. There is a protruding corner next to the door and if the pawing and meowing doesn't get out attention he'll rub his cheeks against it, and after 11 years, the wallpaper is peeling up there and the spot it browned. When it's raining he begs to go outside just to sleep on his favorite chair under the awning. During spring and summer when I go outside to water all our bamboo plants he likes to hide in the plants and walk around in the big pots.

This was very long but my kitty has lots of quirks to him. x) I love him.

We just had to put down my cat, but he used to love dragging things around the house. He'd pull clothes off hangers in our closets, pull blankets off the bed, even pull giant stuffed animals through those little cat doors and distribute them around the house. My aunt said he liked to go "shopping". I miss his antics. :(

Our new kitten Rhenaes is a monster, he uses his paws to communicate that he wants something. If you're eating and he wants a bite (and he'll eat anything from kale to mangoes to green beans) he will put his paw on your face, cheeks, lips, over and over. If he wants pet he'll grab our hands and move them to his face, like he's saying "Did you forget? This is how you do it!"

And he sleeps in weird positions, usually on his belly. I just woke him up here, and he wants a tummy rub. Naturally, we had some fun with that pic later haha.

my cats like my loft bed, too! It is so interesting how they go up ladders, all our cats have their own ways of doing it haha.

My dog likes to nest in my laundry. It's actually pretty precious, because he digs out the middle to get all comfortable in. He knocks around his water bowel when it's empty. He gets startled pretty easily. I makes me laugh every time.

My ferret likes to barrel roll everywhere, and he follows me around the house 'stealthily'.

I have three pets =) My puppy is shy, but I call her a "sweet-talker". She'll see a new person and, instead of showing them how shy she is, she wiggles and dances just out of reach, zooms away when they reach for her, and runs up for quick kisses. My cat absolutely must sleep in the space created when I curl up to sleep, either between my knees and chest, or between my butt and heels behind my knees. My boyfriend's cat is currently rolling all over the place, but that's because she's in heat, more than being a quirk... But I guess it's quirky. I've never seen a queen who didn't have her butt in the air 24/7 when she was in heat. Astrid is flirting with the floor.

My kitty used to whine like a little girl (as in the sound of his meow was like a whining baby girl) whenever he didn't get his way, but I don't know how quirky that is. Hmm...

Right now...(I can't say they're mine, but I'm like god-mama to them, so Imma claim them anyway) I have to say the quirkiest thing the pets do would be.....

One of our girlie rats (Midnight Sonata, Sana for short) can sleep on top of their wheel. We do NOT know how she manages it. But she crawls up there and sleeps all the time.

My cat went through a phase of giving me tissues as presents. Which, uh, I guess is preferable to half a mouse or something, but considering these were generally used tissues he brought in from outside (yeah, not entirely sure where he got them), I still wasn't particularly grateful! Eventually after a few weeks of me snobbishly refusing his gifts and throwing them away when he left them in my bed, he got the idea.

His latest thing is that we should share drinks. Or, specifically, I should share drinks. No longer is any cup of tea or water safe, the number of times I've put them on the side, carried on doing something on the laptop, then turned back to find the cat sticking his head in it and helping himself to the contents...

Our other cat (the family cat), has a soft spot for cuddly toys. He used to steal any that was small enough for him to pick up in his mouth and run off with. The only reason he stopped was because my mum started hiding them under covers and duvets where he couldn't get at them. xD

My cat loves to hang out in boxes. Whenever we go to Costco or someplace similar, he starts biting and scratching at the cardboard boxes and chilling out in them for half the day.

If he doesn't have a box to chill in, he just jumps in my laundry basket and occasionally scares the crap out of me.

And my dog likes to bark at everyone who knocks on the door, even when he sees that it's me/my family.

At night, my older cat picks up his toys, one by one and carries them into the bedroom, leaving them next to the side of the bed. Then, during the day he picks them back up and carries them out to the living room, so he can repeat it come nightfall.

I have a seal-mitted ragdoll cat named Kato, and whenever you scratch the top of his head he moves his ears out sideways. It's hilarious, he looks like a little Yoda or something idk. It's seriously the cutest thing because his eyes get all squinty and you can just tell he loves it.

My other cat is a bicolor ragdoll named Bruce and my family always jokes he's a dog trapped in a cat's body. He follows me EVERYWHERE. Whenever he's left alone in a room, he meows to try and "find" someone, and he'll run around meowing until he's found someone to lay next to. He's a total lap-cat and I have proof of this here lol:

[x] He loves laying on me before I go to sleep or while I'm on the computer. He also has as weird obsession with water. We think it was because his previous owners (we adopted him when he was 8 months old) deprived him of water and cage-raised him. But sometimes he'll sit in front of his water dish and stare into it for HOURS. And other times he'll find small objects (mostly rubberbands and hair ties) and drop them into the water. One time he even fell asleep with one of his paws dipped in the water, the poor guy. Because of him not getting much exercise and attention as kitten, he's rather clumsy too. He can't jump very high and when he does jump, he usually ends up slipping anyway.

He has so many quirks, I couldn't even list them all. He's the strangest cat, but I don't know what I'd do without him.

Omfg this is the story of my life. Every time my family goes to Costco my mom will stack the boxes in the laundry room and the cats act like it's a huge magical surprise. They seriously will hang out there and explore the boxes all day- it's so funny to watch them.

oman, my chihuahua has the most interesting mannerisms

  1. Sitting on whatever I'm working on to get my attention. I could be standing in front of a pool of lava and he'd probably just flop onto it happily just to have a good ol' belly rub
  2. Kind of worries me but if I'm on the laptop for a long time he'll tackle the laptop charger until I look at him. Best deer in the headlights look, btdubs
  3. Dragging his arse ALL OVER THE ROOM. I know for some people that could seem gross but it looks so hilarious. (it's as if he's driving a miniature car in circles across the living room)

I appreciate all help for my gallery! --> the tavern
