I don't find anything particulary wrong with it. It's pretty normal looking making it not ugly but just commoun.

yeah, that's why I tend to above such "shoujo" stuff even though they might be good, rare though. same with kitchen princess. ugh.

I get it now. The OP was talking about the anime not the manga. It has a different person for the character design. I only realised this when you said Kitchen Princess. Also they are two different genres with nothing in commoun. If you judge them by their art alone you will miss on things.

I loved the anime very much, sometimes I would cry xD I think it's a very emotional anime and has it's ups and downs, but honestly I loved all the seasons. except well the last one I didn't like so much since well Ai wasn't Ai anymore. :c
