I could remove the texture on the actual dress, but I dont think it'd fix the pillow shading, which I honestly cant seem to see right now :/
i think a lot of your problem areas as for pillow shading might lie within the collar area.. i don't really see why the edge needs to be darker, as it's lying flat on the skin rather than curling in.
this is still a problem area:
try sharpening your shading up a bit, too, maybe. :V and watch for shading that doesn't necessarily need to be there, like that example i gave up there ^ with the collar shadowing.

Sorry I haven't replied earlier! (The ping didn't work ;o) It looks much better touching the floor, but as for shading... I have no idea :o
I've redid it again from scratch haha ;____;

And dont worry hun x3
Oh wow, that's quite intricate :o. Looking goood :)
I bloody hope so! The dress was resubmitted already, and now im /anxiously/ waiting for what will happen to it. And if it's denied, hopefully it's for smaller reasons that are fixeable (so far the reasons were so big, I had to majorly redo everytime :()
And to think I didn't really see anything wrong with it D:. They're so picky! Good luck with the submit, I hope you get some constructive criticism!
Ahaha I know right :( Perspective issues, 'really awkward' left sleeve, unclear source light, pillow shading, name it! But I really hope I got that right this time! Someone helped me a lot with redoing it so... crossing fingers! And you gave me a lot of constructive criticism, pshh! It really helped x3
Geez that's a pain :o I'm glad you got some help redoing it! Eheh, :3 I try. Something tells me it would be easier if the colour wasn't grey, they're so anal about greys!
I agree, they do seem to have something against grey shading and grey items in general, im not sure why. I mean, the dress is supposed to be silver, im not sure what kind of subtle colours I could throw in anyway :(
Maybe I should straight out ask them -- hey is grey just making the problem bigger? xD
I think it would make it faster if there is a problem with the grey and you ask them about it xD. I don't think we'll ever find out why grey's are such a big issue to them :|.
If it's denied again, I'll include that in the comment box and ask them for sure x3 (Although... well the only problem that could be related to it from the denial reasons seems to be the pillow shading maybe. The rest was more of technical issues on the actual shape of the dress. Quite honestly im not even sure anymore of what is good and what isn't, I feel like ive done 10 versions of it and none of them got through xD)
I imagine that would be quite frustrating :/. That's what puts me off making CWs! I'd just hate to have something denied so many times.
Awhhh no, I know that cws process can be a bit stressful/tedious (and sometimes frustrating) but I can tell you, nothing is more rewarding than to see your item on-site after. All the time you've spent working on it, fixing it, making sure it's all good, and then seing people wear your item? I'd say it's worth going through submitting process. You should try! (I'll be here to be your positive motivation ;D )
Ahahah! I'm willing to bet I'd see a fault and never like it again though ;) But I shall give it a try! (Yay thank you xD)
Shoot me a mail when you think of starting, and I'll cheer you up all the way and force you to not give up on your idea until it's on-site ❤️ (and we neeed more artists, everyone has quit, hiatused!)
Hehe okay! :D (Seriousl? I wasn't aware! It's my time to shineeeeee)
Looking good to me! :) I do think the grey is/may have been part of the problem all along - if it is still an issue I'd try keeping the base color grey, but then using maybe a bluish tone to shade it with? I think it mostly boils down to that when you just use pure shades of grey it leaves the items looking a little lifeless compared to if you use tones with a hint of color to them.
• OVERLAY: Please refer to the notes on this item
• OVERLAY: Not enough layers of shading (Subeta artwork should have 3-5 layers of shading)
• OVERLAY: Anatomy or perspective issues
• NOTE: Thank you so much for the changes you've made! They've made a big difference, and this looks significantly better.
• NOTE: Not enough layers of shading refers to the area in-between the legs. This area is large enough that it would require shading, and looks a little strange completely solid.
• NOTE: Perspective issues refer to a few things! The straps over the shoulder look as if they're different widths. On the male overlay, the right sleeve (our left) looks like it's attached directly to the chest; this could be fixed by continuing the chest line upward a bit to make a distinction between the sleeve and dress. Lastly, one particular fold at the bottom right (http://i.imgur.com/X5rTr.png) does not look like the way fabric would drape. Thanks again for your hard work!
Last denial > started reworking on it. Removed the trail, but everyone wants it back :K
