it's a little hard to tell without knowing where the picture/text boxes will be, but maybe just have it the darker stripes (not the light ones)? i find having both makes it a bit too busy, if anything, maybe just have little stripes in the lighter color that outline the top and bottom of the middle picture when you add it?

[edit] unless when you add the middle picture, not as much as the light stripes will be visible?
