Gawd yes, I love this idea and I can so see the different shells if thats what happens looking like the areas around Subeta to represent the seasons, land areas, the special colors would be.

I would sooo love a cute squishy snail pet. And what a great opportunity for colours like Nuclear and Spectrum/Blacklight to do cool pretty things with the shells! Ice shells for Glacier? Hrnnng Plus, guess how many pets there are... 68. Guess how many invertebrates? 3. We need more. Very yes, please do the thing.

Forgot to say I was in favor of this awhile ago. I looove ocean creatures specifically, so more of a nudibranch-like snail/slug? Hell yes. I kinda don't want it end up having a goofy face, though.

ok but seriously, i see this idea having lots of potential. like others have been saying, the sea slug/snail/hermit crab combo could be really cool. i'm sure the artists could come up with lots of really neat different shells for the different colors… if we went a route leaning more towards the hermit crab, the shells could have cool painted-looking designs or even googly eyes (some people with pet hermit crabs paint their shells and stick googly eyes and other decorations on them), or maybe that could just be for a specific color.

Think of how gorgeous a galactic nudibranch could be?!

Angelic could pull inspiration from conchs and maybe a Ram's Murex?

A nightmare colored one could have thorns and spines like a sea urchin.

And if you run out of ideas from snails and nudibranchs, you can always look at diatom art, prehistoric shellfish, and horseshoe crabs.

The more invertebrates a petsite has the more I tend to stick around, so yes pls c:
