hiya! i've got a wip for you. whomp overlay, spotlight and custom art div goes at the top, treasure in the middle, and story on the bottom.

(idk i'm rereading your post over and over and i hope this is what you meant by columns, as this is... usually what i mean by columns, at least for the story bit, the tc will go in a div)

iiiii've had so much fun experimenting with scrollbars right now. i wanted to see if it was possible, and it WAS. fantastic. groundbreaking for future profiles, too, even though it's so minor, haha. it was mainly because i wanted people to be able to see the scrollbar move as it disappeared and now they CAN. massive bonus that i figured out a solution for a custom scrollbar on the body that translates well across screen resolutions ☺

of course this only works for chrome so i hope you're a chrome user 😅 😅 😅

no, it won't, because the profile is a column, as requested, so the story section "scrolls" via the scrollbar that scrolls the entire page. i made that clear when showing you the initial layout, explaining the different modes 😬 when you okayed the layout, i thought we were on the same page, as there are no layout changes past that point.

edit: i could code it in (as code changes are fine at the coding stage). personally and for aesthetic reasons i'd rather not (but will if asked) because that's not what the layout was made for so it's not gonna look as good versus had it been made for it, but it's a compromise. 😶

derp It is perfect the way it is (sorry if I gave you a mini heart attack), it makes total sense that the profile itself will continue to scroll for as long as the story is!!! Sorry sorry sorry! LOL I am a struggle bus over here.
