actually saving up monies right now, waiting for kozis overlay to be switched over at the moment...very excited...my hubby thought it was fantastic too...my next character might seem a bit complicated..even if I dont think so...but I will either give in and flail...or let you know when I feel I can do it.. well Im am ready whenever you are for the next overlay (have the monies, just waiting for a slot) and currently I dont have any hedgies, because I am full up with critters I have rescued and given a safe home too (they have issues and I have worked for years with difficult, abused, etc animals) to pass...I know a ton about them though (hedgies) and my hubby is planning on getting me one when Im ready (told him I want to be able to give it more attention but with so many other critters it wouldnt be fair) I have been around them though..and they are FANTASTIC...if you have any questions about them please ask! :D they are becoming very very popular!

It's no problem! 8) I really like second pose! I think it's the intense gaze or something that gets me LMAO.

I'd like to request a couple of relatively small changes, though!! Could there be a little protruding point on the top half his tail fin, like this? And could the two chunks of hair in his hair beads be a bit longer? I'm thinking just put the beads where those stands end currently, and then obviously adding the part after the beads, if that makes any sense (I'm terrible at explaining these things)!

Lastly (and this is pretty optional), is there any chance he could be smirking, even if it's just slightly? Otherwise, I love it, and I really can't wait to see him painted!

Awesome! I'll probably open up slots again right when I finish the two commissions I am working on now. It's taking a while as I am also busy studying for the GRE but it shouldn't take too much longer now. That's so cool and very admirable that you work with animals in need. :) I understand waiting on getting a hedgie until you're ready, that's very smart and would be best for the hedgie! :D Hmm..I'll let you know if I have any questions. I can talk more with my sister to see her thoughts and everything on getting a hedgie!

Oh my gosh, I'm so sorry, I already started painting the other sketch! :( I could try and make it more like the first if you want though. I hope this is okay!

This is what I have so far.

It is still very much a work in progress. Ignore his hair right now (I will make it longer!), and I will fix his tail fin so it looks more straight and with the protruding point and everything. And I'll add that arm fin. Oh and I'll add some markings on his torso like in your refs! And nipples. Definitely nipples.

Oh, it's totally fine! It was my mistake, not yours (and I didn't even notice for like TWO DAYS LMAO), so don't apologize!! 8) That looks so good so far, though!! I can't wait to see it finished! ; u ; He does look a liiiittle dark (or, at least his fishy parts do! His skin tone is fine!!), though, BUT I thought that might be because you may lay your darkest colors down first when painting, SO PLEASE IGNORE ME IF THAT'S THE CASE. 8)

Awesome, I am glad you like it so far! :D I do tend to paint from darker to light, so the fishy parts should get lighter once I start working on them. So, no worries, haha.

I absolutely love the texturing on his tail, and your ability to paint faces in particular is stunning! 8) I LOVE HIS HAIR TOO, IN FACE I LOVE EVERYTHING. I can't quiiiite tell on the preview, but it looks like his sclera are white, when they're actually black!! That might just be the highlights on his eyes that I'm seeing, though! If they're already black, just ignore me!
