These two chapters are being combined since they mesh very well, and I need to keep the event's finish somewhat on track. This is to give you a "head's up," so you can make some team decisions before Night of the Nancy Boys is posted on the regular board later today.
These chapters will have alternate path choices as well as they need for one really awesome RP master who isn't afraid of much, and some amazing puzzlers. There is also an HA challenge. You might want to think ahead now, and decide this first
You have to ride the underground steamway to get to the Gearwork Goose. There is a rather odd guard who you will have to pass in order to get on. Will your team:
Please list your team choices here by 11:59 Subeta time on July 24th, as the story chapter starts then.

The Whovians will be joining the band of fake pirates
Need to make a choice tonight, so any and all input at the SSSLSLF is appreciated!
Cosmic Moon will be joining the fake pirates.
Raider's Folly has decided to go "whole hog" as they say and we opt for option 2) Join a band of fake pirates and sneak past? (An even harder puzzle, and you may be searched by the conductor if any fairies have to flit in to help with clues. Gains more bonus points.)
I'm just wondering, is 'street clearance' just another way of saying we won't be questioned and so can be unnecessary if we join the pirates and need no clues from fairies, or is street clearance something that will come into play later that we can only get by negotiating with the conductor now.
oh wow, this will be a hard one to choose!
: We need to decide, head on over to the SL forum and cast your vote. We need to reclaim our rightful place at the head of the pack!

YAY! DOUBLE POST!! I REALLY AM DOUBLE TROUBLE NOW!!
The Wildcards are going for Number 2.....
Sugarcandy Mountaineers are going for option number 1.Negotiate with the guard? (A hard puzzle, but once aboard, you won't be questioned further and you will have street clearance. Gains bonus points.)
The Foggiest Notions are going with this:
And I just wanted to clarify what you mean by "nancy boy" for my group, we have some confusion as to what that entails. Though I have given the definition of it as:
This is just for the puzzle. Basically, it means that if you have to get a hint from me. You will lose part of the bonus points you gained.
You're always in Double Trouble. It's only sweet little Kitcher who is going through happily. :D
You look amazing!
Yes, it does mean that in our world, and it got a lot of you to spit out coffee, BUT here, it's simply a fan of Nancy at the Gearwork Goose, and very punny, since the vast majority of out team members are female. (Besides, if Tanaka can be a Flower Boy....:D)
@ Iridescent
Congrats to all of you in the Battle of the Bands. I'm tickled for you! Now, that being said....
Folks always ask if I ever get pissed off, because I seem so patient. I am patient, that's true, but it's also true I do get pissed, and I'm pissed now! We're encouraged not to talk about other similar sites, which is good, but now we're going to judge the scores for the bands through Slushie Slinger??? Oh, wait--it's Street Team, my bad! I should have known better, since the controls on this one work half as well! (GAH!)
Yes, I'm old, but I can still put teen boys into shock with my mad arcade skillz, but this puppy sucks for ease of use! You'll be lucky if you don't drop it before you toss it, IF you can pick it up in the first place, since that doesn't always work.
AND, to top this all off, I can't spread out my gold account-VIP ticket points among the three bands that have Protectors in them? What? I only have friends in one place? Yeah, right. We come to Subeta to exist in isolation--sure, right, thank you, Colonel Clueless.
Okay--rant over. Under the current constraints, my support (and whatever points I can manage,) have to go to Starbound, but this officially sucks all round, Subeta. Realize that a ton of us are here as refugees from that sinking yellow submarine, and second-rate knockoffs aren't as good as first-rate Subeta originals.
(Now, give me back my Yooyu Ball...I've gotta throw things for the band.)
